An Enjoyable Comparison to "Goldilocks"
I enjoy reading this to children who attend the library but I have one quibble. Papa Libearian reads "hard" books while Mama reads "easy" books. I worry that this gives the impression that women only read "easy" books. This is particularly troublesome in an elementary school environment where the picture books are shelved in an "easy" section and there are books referred to as "easy" readers. I don't know if children are getting this impression and I'm not sure what a legitimate opposite would be -- "soft" books doesn't really work either -- but it does bother me.That being said, I tip my hat off to the author for creating a good comparison to the Goldilocks story.

The students love it.
I read this book to my library classes which range from 4 year olds to 5th graders as a resource to teach them the proper way to treat a book and put it back on the shelf properly. The students love the book and are entranced by it as I read it to them. It has been very helpful showing the "5 finger rule" for reading a book and the importance of putting books back where they belong. I would recommend this book to any librarian to read to their classes.

Purchased for my classroom
The kids loved the book, great alternative to the original story, and none of my kindergartners had heard it before. The illustrations are great and it's plenty big enough to read to a class of 23.

I love this book
I love this book! I use it in my class to teach my students (5th grade) how to choose books that are a good fit for them. I love the pictures and word play in the book. My students caught on quickly to them as well and were groaning and giggling.

So cute!
We picked this book up at the library and my boys fell in love with it. After checking it out 3 weeks in a row we finally gave in and purchased a copy to keep. Pictures are very cute and colorful. The reference to the original Goldilocks story is very evident and fits well with the story line. This book keeps both my boys attention all the way through. A great addition to anyones bedtime routine!

Fun (and useful) retelling of the original
Bought this book to introduce the idea of choosing a "just right" book to my students; it was recommended by a teacher in my school. The overall telling is very good, retaining enough of the original to keep it "predicable" but different enough to be interesting. The ending has a sweet little twist.

Great Book!!!!!
Goldie Socks and the Three Libearians is a wonderful book to share as a read aloud to primary grade students. Its a great spin on a well known and beloved fairy tail and it not only teaches how to pick a "good fit" book but also how to treat books. I read this to my students during the first week of school as a prelude to writing classroom library rules to follow.

Goldie Socks and the Three Libearians
I loved this book! As a Third Grade Teacher it was fun to present a familiar Fairy Tale with a twist. I was able to reinforce the five finger reading rule with humor and a surprise ending. It explained the concept of choosing a just right book with the updated tale of Goldisocks and her search for the just right thing. When used in conjunction with Reader's Workshop Model it was a hit.

Great book for Bibliophiles
Great fun. A retelling of Goldilocks and the 3 bears, only this time the bears all have connections with books and they have a comprehensive library in their house of made of books. So when Goldisocks calls she pulls various books off the shelves, leaving them scattered for the bears to find. When they track down the culprit however they're happy as she's sitting enjoying a book
