Fits perfectly and works well
I was expecting our Weber original porcelain-coated grill plates' coatings to start failing soon, so I decided to try this as a less costly replacement. I'm very pleased with the result. They fit our Weber Q1000 perfectly and work well. Easier to clean because there's no coating to worry about damaging.

Good enough, not as good as cast iron originals
The grid works. But it's not as good as the cast iron originals because you lose that incredible heat retention from cast iron. Also if you use the 'flat surface' of the grid then know that you lose that with this option.The flat sections in this grid help ensure that you are not cooking over a naked flame. But the design is such that the upper surface of the flat section is mucky as it's not flush with the grid bars. I did try turning the grid over to flat surface at the top but that didn't work well for me.If I was the make of this product I would not have it as 2 pieces...seems unnecessary and the fit of the product would be better as a single piece.

Don’t fit flush to my Weber
One of the grates doesn’t lay flat On the lugs in my Weber q3200.. as a result it rocks annoyingly when cleaning and moving food around.. I realise it’s a small issue but my original Weber grates .. don’t
