Poor product, poor seller
This product, though advertised as new, did not seem to be new (see picture of packaging). The spring that keeps the handles apart is not secured, and simply falls out when you let go to move onto a new nail. I decided not use this product on my dog, and cannot attest to the quality of the blades.I contacted the seller on 3/8, and have not heard one word from them. I am very dissatisfied with the seller and the product provided.

Disappointed would be an understatement
Sadly mine didn't hold up against all the positive reviews I read... The spring in the middle came out the 2nd time we used it... And when I cut the nails it kept breaking them partially (so that a layer was still there and I had to use something else to cut that last layer nail off so the piece would break away. Probably not the easiest description, but simply put it made a mess of the pets nails leaving them jagged and worse than before they were cut. I would not purchase this product

Durable, effective clipper!
I have small and medium sized dogs and this clipper is a GOOD QUALITY nail device. I didn't end up hurting my dogs like I was fearing. I also found another use for this handy tool...Craft wire cutter. This thing will cut through even my strongest of craft wires, and out perform regular wire cutters. I wouldn't recommend using them for wire, however, if you want to keep them strong for animal nails. I know these will last for a long time!

I love the safety stop!
The last time I trimmed my dogs nails, I thought I was just taking off a little, to my shock... he let out a yelp and started to bleed!!! I felt horrible!!!With these clippers, I don't have to worry about hurting my best friend. Theres a safety stop, so I can't take off too much again.My dogs and I love that!!!

A pair of clippers that works as advertised
These pet nail clippers are extremely easy to use! Cutting puppy nails is now painless for both her and us. We have had other trimmers but the way the handles are made makes them very hard to use. These do not hurt my hands, they are very easy to use and cut the nails cleanly. They keep us from cutting the quick on our 8 months old Labrador puppy. The feature that prevents cutting the nails too deeply is great as it decreases the chance of getting our puppy hurt and traumatised. The blades are very sharp. These seem to be a very good value as we have looked around at local stores.

Very easy to use I have bought other clippers but was ...
Very easy to useI have bought other clippers but was disappointed by the dull blades. These on the other hand are very sharp which makes them cut through nails easily without having to worry that my dog is going to get hurt. I like the color and the handles, they feel very solid. I can see what I’m doing with these and I am able to quickly snip the nail without touching the nerve. I don’t really use the guard, I simply push it all the way in order to see for myself where and how much I cut. My Becky is a happy dog now. I would definitely recommend these clippers.
