I have been looking all my life, really, for this product.It stops my frizz, smoothes my hair, adds shines, and does not weigh my hair down. It is weightless with no smell.Just one or two pumps is all you need.

I have curly hair that also happens to be dark. Sometimes I like to add extra shine to make it look lustrous. This gloss is perfect for that. It's lightweight and doesn't weigh your hair down. It adds shine and keeps frizz at bay. It's good to use if you like twist-outs. I'll definitely be using this on a regular basis. It was my first time trying any products from this brand and I was so excited to try this. It has creamy-watery texture and it's super easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I use it after shower on my damp hair and also for better styling on my dry hair and both works great with amazing result. It makes my hair super soft without any frizzy hair with natural shiny finish look. It doesn't make my hair greasy or oily look and it's super light weighted which I really like about. I think it's a little pricey for the size that you receive but it's definitely worth the money. It has amazing smell and very decent meaning that it doesn't have strong smell to bother you in case you are sensitive to smell.

I buy this brand fairly regularly over the past few decades. I would say I like/love half the products. This shine serum is one of the ones that I don't like so much.I would use so much but, it seemed like my hair just absorbed it and it vanished. It didn't do anything for my hair. Then, suddenly it was like it was too much applied and felt gross on my hair, although not in a greasy sort of way. My hair is not that dry. It wouldn't be just absorbing it like that. There was just no happy medium between extremes.So, for me, this serum just didn't work out.

You get a pretty small bottle from Alterna for the $27. The My Hair My Canvas Glow for It is a nice anti frizz product though and I found it works quite well. You can put it in your hair after your hair is towel dry when you are done washing it. It has a pleasant fragrance that I like quite a bit and I found it does cut down on the frizz quite nicely overall. It is a bit pricey but you don’t need a lot of it when you use it so this should last you a good while. This works, maybe not my top product but I like it.
