Easy Homemade Pottery: Make Your Own Stylish Decor Using Polymer and Air-Dry Clay

Lots of great projects here. While not all were to my taste, the techniques I learned can be adapted to other creative projects. Directions were excellent and clear. Well worth the cost of the book.

I just got my book in the mail and I have to say it's the most creative and do-able clay book I've seen. I can not wait to get started making some of these projects!!

I'm not saying that you can't use the author's examples as a guide to make your own art... I'm just saying, if you are going to go to the trouble of writing a craft book, the least you could do is make projects that don't look like a third grader made them. This author is not the only one guilty of this trend. Lots of craft books are coming out with some of the most uninteresting and poorly constructed "example" art I have ever seen. If you want to inspire the purchaser of your book to make great craft pieces, you need to dazzle them with polished craft example art. If your examples looks like you just throw something together for the sake of a photograph, then it sort of defeats your purpose and leaves the crafter uninspired. I think you can do better than this.

Whenever I get a Hobbycraft spend & save £2.50 voucher - i always buy a block of air dry clay because, it's just SO versatile!But ... I now had a bit of a clay pile up and no inspiration was coming.This book solved that problem! It's full of beautiful photographs and tutorials and tips and im so glad I bought this one as I also love the authors Instagram but I hadn't realised they were one and the same!If you need some air dry claysperation then get a copy!
