Not as pictured.
I’ve ordered these twice before loved them. This batch is not the same. The lids don’t have a lip to help open them. I have use a knife to get them open. They are sturdy but a pain to get open. I’ll use them for under plants I guess.

Great containers...but there's one little catch
I really like these containers. I had so many plastic containers that I had acquired over the years so none of them stacked together and my cabinets were an absolute mess. I decided to just throw them all out and start over with these since I meal prep every week and have tons of meals in my fridge. I do like how sturdy these are. I had also bought some rectangular ones that I don't see lasting more than a few months before they will eventually crack because they are a bit on the flimsy side. They do well in the dishwasher and freezer and I have been very pleased. However, and this is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5, the lids can be very finicky. Sometimes they go on perfectly fine and other times, it takes both myself and my bf using all of our hands to get a lid on and stay on. I had the brilliant idea one day that maybe if I just pressed firmly from the center, it would go on, but that just cracked the lid so I had to throw that one out. I finally worked out a method to get the lids on even when some don't want to cooperate. You know that frustrating thing where you start closing in one spot and work both hands around, closing it as you go, until you got to the other side, and then a part you've already gone over pops back open? Yeah, that's the issue with these lids. After figuring out my little hack, they aren't too bad now.

Still going strong 6 months later!
I bought 120 of these bad boys! Some of them did crack when dropped (they were full and heavy with food), a couple came with lids already cracked, one of them I accidentally left (snapped fully) shut and it deformed in the microwave after just 2 minutes! Lol I'd say a good 95% of them snapped shut nice and snug! I ride a motorcycle, so all my containers had to pass the leak proof test in my backpack. Yeah, they can be kind of finicky to close, but when they do snap shut they are airtight! As far as space goes, my usual meal prep is 1 cup of rice, 1 cup veggies, and 5 ounces of chicken..it all fits just fine. They stack up pretty good in the fridge. The plastic is on the rigid side so be careful not to put an exagerated amount of pressure on them as they will crack! I accidentally leaned on one with my elbow and it shattered spilling food everywhere. I never microwave these for more than 3 minutes at a time, but they might be fine going 4 minutes. I haven't bothered finding out. All in all they are all bargain for the money!

Tight lids and solid containers
I am a fitness fanatic so I always have to pre-plan and pack my 6 meals a day. these are perfectly sized to hold exactly what I need and perfectly sized to fit in my little carry cooler. I like that they are black and won't stain so hopefully they will last a while. I have put these in the microwave and in the dishwasher with no issues yet. The clear lids allow me to see what exactly is in the container without having to open it.The lids are slightly difficult to close sometimes and can somtimes be hard to tell if they are fully sealed. So I just take the extra time and press all the way around again to make sure. This, however, also means that the lids never fall off when you don't want them to. So take the great with the slight.Would definitely suggest getting these if you have bunches of leftovers or pack meals like I do.

Perfect for meal prep and easy to store!
Great inexpensive containers! Perfect for meal prep for the week. I've got them in both the fridge and freezer, and they seem to handle the daily cold to microwave to dishwasher journey well. The compartments are good for portion control as well. I like that they are dishwasher safe, BPA-free, and recyclable when you decide to get rid of them. So far, I have used them to pack work breakfasts and lunches for my husband and myself with no leaks, but I wouldn't put something like soup in them for fear of leakage around the lid. I think they seal better than Gladware and other "disposable" storage containers, though, and the prices are hard to beat. I also like how neatly they stack in my cabinets. I just purged ALL of my other mismatched storage containers and replaced them with these! I ordered the 3-compartment set, the 2-compartment set, and the round bowls, and they all fit on one shelf in my cabinet perfectly.

Makes leftovers EASY!
UPDATE:I've had these containers about 5 months now and have happily through out all my other Tupperware. I still use these bad boys for everything and they are holding up GREAT! They go in the dishwasher at least 2x a week and have survived daily trips to 3rd and 6th grade. Will definitely purchase more once these guys need to retire. So far, I love these containers. Good quality containers. I've stored fruit, veggies, rice, meat, soup and even cookies in them! They hold up well, in the dishwasher, in the freezer, fridge, I've taken them on road trips and they even survive my daughter's lunch box! I used them to pack pre made meals on a road trip and I was asked by multiple people where I purchased them because they all had flimsy ziplock containers that were garbage by the time we headed home. I highly recommend these containers!

I like it so far
I like it so far. It's very light vs. the glass container I packed my lunch with. One of the 2 we used has its lid cracked on the first use. I have no idea if the husband opened it to harshly or if he put anything too heavy on top of it. I love that the food looks better and more takeout style. That makes it more tasty. I guess we just love eating out and the illusion helps :). I don't know how long I will be able to keep up with my Sunday prep but hopefully it will be for a long while so we can lose weight and save some money!!
