Works great
My pool guy questioned what I was doing, ordered light and was skeptical after ready bad reviews. I took a chance to do this my self. Also ordered seal.. glad I did. The old light was in the pool for 19 years. Watch a simple video. Was easy. Pool guy wanted to charge me 100.00 to do it. Took me 10 min and light works great. I'll follow up if it dies in the next few years! So far great!

<10,000 hours; It does not last 50,000 hours
The seller states that the bulb's will last 50,000 hours. The actual bulb life was 7,500 hours. Buyer beware.Per the Q&A on the product profile, I contacted the seller regarding this issue. Fortunately I was promptly refunded.

50 W (White) 6500K LED: So far so good ....
My photo shows the new 50W TOVEENEN (white) LED bulb on the right and a 500W incandescent bulb on the left. Note the LED (6500K) yields a much whiter light than the incandescent, which is probably around 3000K. My pool plaster is blue, thus the bluish tones. As others have noted, the light projection leans more to spot than flood, which is why I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars. Otherwise, the brightness and light temperature are nice. The bulb has a two year warranty. I just installed so I have no comment on longevity.

LASTED ABOUT FIVE HOURS
UPDATE 7/15/2022 I removed the lamp from the pool housing and found water ingress had damaged bulb. So my bad. Changing rating from one-star to 5-star. Alicia in their customer service group was very helpful.Purchased in July 2021 and used it no more than five hours before it started flickering then stopped altogether. I know it is not a water leak or short as it runs in parallel with the hot tub light and shares the same GFCI breaker. Hot tub light works fine. I was excited to go with LED so I would never need to replace the old incandescent bulb again. Very disappointed.

This was simple, well built and really bright compared to incandescent
I used these light in a Pentair fixture, added a blue plastic filter to one for effect. relatively cheap compared to other solutions and a lot cheaper than the standard Jandy or pentair LED fixtures. Been going for a month now turning on for several hours each night with no problems. The light has a narrow beam so in this pool you see it is more intense in the center as they both face the opposite pool wall.I did run these lights outside the pool for a few hours and they stayed relatively cool, so I am not worried about any heat problem.

Incandescent to LED
Received the light Friday and installed it today. You can tell a HUGE difference in the LED light vs the incandescent light! I’ll revise my post if the light stops working but as of right now, it’s pretty! Now I have to order one for the spa!!!I will say that I did not receive a remote control.

Crystal Clear!
We’ve used it for many nights now since installing it, and it works great! Everyone that has seen it complements on its color and output. And a power saver for sure too!
