3M Aqua-Pure Under Sink Full Flow Replacement Cartridge AP Easy C-CS-FF, for use in AP Easy CS-FF System

This was factory installed in my motorhome & usually replace the filter annually. You get what you pay for. This is priced on the upper end of filters but it has filtering ability far exceeding other filters and has a life of up to 10,000 gallons or 1 year.

This filter works and very easy to install. I have tried other lower cost filters and got less than 1/2 the life of this filter. I’ve used this filter for 6 years and have no problems. Only thing is that it cost more then the off brands. I’ll pay the extra $$$ for something I know works.

I got this to to decrease unwanted flavors (mostly chlorine) in my tap water. This filter does it nicely. The water tastes great. I can confirm that this fits the same filter holder as Aquapure's C-CYST-FF. I've used both filters. Both work well. Both give OK flow rate, though the flow through the C-CS-FF is distinctly faster. I would use the C-CYST-FF if I wanted filtration tight enough to remove microbes. For my water this isn't too much of a concern, so I choose the higher flow rate I get with the C-CS-FF. It's nice to have a choice! The filter holder for both allows you to change the filter without shutting off the water. Just thread the old one out, about a quarter turn, and thread the new one in. Only a few drops of water dribble down, so a dish towel under the assembly is all you need. Nice touch. ======== Below contains Update as of 2016-11-05: I have used these to remove chlorine and other species that contribute "taste" to my city water. They have worked well, and significantly improve the water flavor, but now seem to becoming less available and at significantly increased prices compared to a year or more ago. I've replaced it the whole thing with a permanant filter holder (many options available, check something like HD4500BL34) that houses disposable "carbon block" media, in industry-standard size of nominal 10 inch length x 2.5 inch diameter. Compared to the Aquapure kit, you'll have to source your own plumbing adapters and holder. But it's well within the capability of the medium-handy homeowner. I'm really liking the expanded range of options for filter media now.

Bought for Winnebago. I’m in a place with a private well ( normal for Florida-lots of water here). Water is yellow with sulfur taste. The water filter allows me to drink the water out of the tap without qualms!

Very easy to change without even having to shut off water (though I did) due to base's integral check valve, in my setup anyway. Removes taste of chlorine very well which otherwise ruins the taste of coffee for me. Previous cartridge lasted 3 years only small utility sink I use mostly for coffee, drinking, icemaker and cooking water, not for washing, etc. Tap water here in Bend, Oregon is superb anyway, winning the 2012 "Best Tasting Municipal Water In Northwest" and in running for best in USA, to be determined. I just hate the taste of chlorine.

Our builder's plumber installed this system in our house, likely to make back their money on replacement filters. I will say that I'm sold. Yes, the filters are expensive. For removing the chlorine taste from water, they do an excellent job. Far more convenient than a Brita filter. Cartridges last for a year in my experience.

Filter works great and removes virtually all taste of chlorine from our tap water. A bit expensive but should last a year or so.
