I bought this and I got replacements nibs and this almost metal silver cylinder thing and I am wondering what that is for?

Hi there. Thanks for your question. The metal cylinder has a small opening which can be used to hold the replacement nibs in place to make it easier to insert them into the stylus. Hope this helps.

As of October 2018, do spare nibs come with the pencil? Is it compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 8? Thanks

I received spare nibs with mine. I think it is compatible with anything that would work with an S pen.

Does this work with Samsung tab 6 Lite?

Yes. It's great I prefer it to the S Pen.

Is this compatible with the Samsung Galaxy A51?

Only if an EMR digitizer is built into the display of a device, EMR pens can be used on it. All Samsung models that can be operated with an S Pen have an EMR digitizer. Samsung Galaxy A51 cannot be operated with a S Pen and therefore has no EMR digitizer and unfortunately is not compatible to the Noris digital. Best regards Your STAEDTLER service team
