I bought this because it said specifically, 'NATURAL LIGHT' which would have some warmth at least and the price was decent. What I got was OFFICE LIGHT and the power of that light, which you can dim and heighten, isn't strong enough to hit the face unless your nose is maybe 5 inches the mirror, otherwise it's a nice mirror. A nice NON LIT mirror. BTW the sides are NOT lit either, which is the real issue with the power of the light. Losing that illumination on the sides really affects the lighting on the face, in a bad way.As for traveling, it lays semi flat IF you can take the base back off. I could not.Overall it's a decent basic non-lit mirror or a decent office light mirror if that is your 'thing,' and you're using it for a very fast basic make-up job. It illuminated my phone and hands well in the photo , so maybe every persons face will react different to the light? I don't know. I'm old so office light is BAD!OH! And the touch screen on off button is cool until you close the sides and the light goes back on. If you buy this make sure you turn the light off from the back button!

This is a decent makeup mirror but the lights on it failed in less than a year. Also, I was used to a two-sided makeup mirror that rotated between a normal mirror on one side and magnified mirror on the other. The lights on this style mirror (with just the two additional mirrors on the doors) made it difficult to see in the additional mirrors - they were practically useless because the light was only bright enough to utilize the main mirror. The only reason I would purchase this again is because it's small enough to travel easily, otherwise it's no better than using your bathroom mirror to apply your makeup.

It's a great little mirror, and I use it all the time for chin hairs. I sit next to a window so there's natural light. It's a decent mirror, but wish it was brighter.

mirror is just the right size for my dresser. I like that the magnification mirror is removable. Having the light helps when in low lighting.

Amazingly the product is fine but came in its own box and not an Amazon brown box..this would not be a concern if it was something unbreakable.. It only had 2 foam sheets. I am amazed it was not broken...I am thrilled with the mirror.

I like the mirror. I wish I could find a way to hang it higher.
