I easily refilled my small empty propane bottles from a 20 lb. Cylinder. The instructions were concise and correct.

Used it the day it arrived and filled 5-1lbs bottles was easy to do. Would give it 5 stars but haven’t used it much to see its durability. Need to be safe when refilling and do it outdoors not in an enclosed space. Also be sure to scale each bottle before to ensure that you don’t over fill it could be deadly if not done properly. Continue to fill and purge bottle till roughly about one pound of LP ( liquid propane) is filled. Hope this helps your decision.

With this product and a bit of thermodynamics I can actually get a bit over a pound of propane back into the bottle. My BBQ tank is about half full maybe less, so I set it in a sunny area upside down and stored the empty pounder in the freezer for a couple hours. Hooked it up opened the valve and waited for the pressure to equalize. When it was done weight it just over a pound more than it did coming out of the freezer.

I've struggled with filling my propane canisters for years using the traditional stub adapter. Having the long tube allows me to vent to propane canister easily and it fills really fast. Problem solved!
