Ballistix Sport 4GB Single DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) UDIMM 240-Pin Memory - BLS4G3D1609DS1S00

The only two brands I trust for my SSD's are Intel and Crucial, mainly used Corsair RAM in my main builds...but my next build may be getting a crucial kit after being impressed by this package. Worked out of the box with an unidentical stick of 4GB Patriot Intel Extreme Masters RAM with same timings. Using in my HTPC with AMD FX 8350 and MSI 970A-G46 w/8GB RAM with 2x Radeon 6850 in Crossfire (I know, dinosaur GPU.) Packaging was a tease (2xDIMM retail package with just the one stick) but was clearly labeled 4GB and fully sealed. The heat shield is a nice aesthetic touch in my Cooler Master HAF-XB EVO while chilling (literally) under a CM Hyper 212 cooler, no fitment issues (for those who have large coolers). I got lucky and the blue of the Patriot stick and the Black/Silver of the Crucial stick compliment my build fairly well. I run Steam in-home streaming, Plex Windows Server, Kodi, torrent clients, and a few Linux VM's simultaneously off of a Crucial M500 240GB SSD and the 8350 can really stretch its legs in this build. BIOS reported correct speed upon install, I'm a bit tired of seeing reviews that cry foul about the RAM being faulty when it loads up as 1333mhz or so. Ever consider that it's your motherboard, not the RAM, that is causing you such injustice? TL;DR Fast, cheap, reliable. Like a used Miata.

I picked up this RAM for a budget build I did for a friend of mine. I knew I could trust the Crucial name to give good performance at a good price, so I snagged a single stick of 4GB for $40. It's in a Windows 7 machine with an AMD A10 5800K APU. The Windows Experience Index rates the RAM at a 5.9 in terms of memory operations per second. There isn't too much else to say about the RAM other than it went right in the MoBo and the computer performs exactly like I would expect it to. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this RAM again if I needed to put together another budget-friendly computer!

Bought 4 sticks of 4gb each. At the time of purchase buying individual 4gb sticks was cheaper than the 8gb kit. Bought these to upgrade an HP Pavilion P6654Y that a co worker was using for photo editing with Photoshop. The desktop came with 4gb and it was not cutting it, the computer was slowing down. The motherboard specs recommended DDR3 1333 pc3-10600 ... these are faster ram sticks but the system recognized them and they are running just fine. windows 7 recognizes 15.7gb of usable ram. The difference was immediately noticeable adobe apps open faster etc. If you need good DDR3 ram at a very reasonable price buy these just make sure your motherboard supports the capacity.

I bought this RAM to go with my AMD Athlon 5350 and Asus AM1I-A MOBO, because that set-up can only use single-channel memory. This RAM booted up fine and has been running solid ever since, even while gaming and so on. I'm writing this review in April 2015, and I promise that I'll update it if I run into any problems with this RAM. If not, you can assume that this RAM is still running strong. At one point when I had visited this page, the RAM was listed at 1600MHz. Since then it has been changed to 1600MT/s (800MHz). The RAM is indeed 800MHz, but it performs very well. I have no complaints about it. I currently have 2 of them, and plan on getting another 2. It's on the lower end of the price spectrum as RAM goes, but it's a good quality product.

I built my desktop back when Windows 8 just came out. I bought this memory stick as a match for my existing one seeking better performance. I bought it used because all memory sticks I've ever seen come with lifetime warranties, but it looked brand new and was shipped in antistatic wrapping. I snapped it in, booted up and now have almost flawless and faster performance when I multitask or play videos. I'm very happy with this.

Received this week works perfect. Power down your tower, pull the plug out of the wall, open her up and install your RAM. It will take a large amount of pressure to fully seat the RAM into the slot. To get mine to fully seat, I kind of slowly wiggled as I applied pressure (Side to Side in-line with the card like this-->). <<< =========== >>> I also found it helps to put pressure on just one side, lock it in with the white clips, and then do the other side. I believe some folks will have an easier time with it than I did depending on their own experience and slots on their motherboards. Mine took more work than it normally should.

I bought two of these, one in December 2014 and another October 2015, and as of July 22 2017 they both have died. While I had these in side of my computer machine they worked fine, I really didn't have a problem but recently they started being annoying. My computer just stopped functioning and my screens went dark but the tower stayed on. I unplugged my computer cause the power button and a little reset button did nothing to stop it from being powered. When it started the POST gave me 1 long and 3 short beeps which for an AMI BIOS means memory test failure. I diagnose it, adjusted the ram into other slots, restarted a couple times and it worked. So every morning I wake up to attend my battle station I would have to sit there and turn on and off my pc a couple times to get it to start like a car that wont turn over, but now they've just kicked the bucket. 3 stars cause they only lasted a year for one and two for the other, not as long as I expected.

Es un buen producto, sin problemas de compatibilidad, mi equipo lo reconocio sin problemas, creo que no hay otras tarjetas de 4 gb, en ese rango de precio, ademas tiene una latencia muy baja, lo que da como resultado un mejor desempeño.

The product I received was ordered based on specs I already used in my PC (I ordered this to expand the ram). The ram is performing just as expected in unison with the old stick. Also, the delivery was received two days prior to the estimated arrival date.

Bought it for a hackintosh build ,It's super low profile, lightning fast, and works like a champ. What more do you want to know? It's great memory. Trust Me, You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED well recommended
