The LEGO Batman Movie [DVD + Digital Download] [2017]

Worst buy ever. It was meant to be a birthday gift for my youngest son and he was left in disappointment when the movie went into the DVD player to be met with “WRONG REGION”. Extremely frustrating and false advertising.

first it took a very long time for the dvd to arrive and once it came the dvd doesn't work.

Does. Or work on our blue Ray DVD player - other dvd only items have.

We were VERY disappointed it this listing. The description did NOT say it was for PAL/European playback. Not for US consumption.

Película muy divertida, bien animada, con acción y humor. Castellano en el Bluray, pero no en el 4K. Pero vale la pena.

Nulla da eccepire sul servizio di spedizione, il blu-ray è la versione base, la copertina non è quella che si vede in foto ma quella classica di batman movie, l'audio in italiano è presente ma si sente davvero basso, non è dolby, ho dovuto alzare il volume al massimo con una soundbar Sony, per il resto tutto ok, ottimo prezzo

This is 'The Lego Batman movie'. A movie outing for the awesome Dark Knight vigilante heavy metal rocking machine version voiced by Will Arnett in 2014's 'The Lego Movie'. None of this is to be confused with 'Lego Batman the movie' which is a completely different product. So it's animated in the style of the Lego movie. Set in Gotham city. And features Batman in similar vein to how we saw him there. Being awesome enough to defeat all the villains time and time again, and save the city whenever required. When he hurts the Joker's feelings, the latter starts a scheme. In order to deal with it, Batman might just need to loosen up a little. And let others into his life. Yes, the latter bit is the same plot as 'Batman and Robin,' But don't panic, as this does it right. A hugely entertaining movie for all ages. It may feature a version of Batman who loves the Dark image, but it is one that kids can get into easily. It's got silliness galore and superb visuals. But there's also a great hit ratio of jokes which come thick and fast. Pop culture cameos. Things your nerd friends will love. And an incredible amount of references to bat comics and movies and items of days gone by. Some of which many might like to forget. But for those who know their bat trivia, this is a treat. For those who don't, they're all worth a google. It's not a send up of those though, it's a very affectionate take on such things. And amazingly for an animated cgi movie, it does manage real emotional depth to the characters and what they go through as well. It does lose a little impetus in the final third, with lots of explosions and action going on, but this is a superhero film, so it's going to do that in it's final third. So it's not much of a complaint. With some fun music also, this is a superbly entertaining bit of cinema. Well worth a watch. Things do go for a little while extra over the first half of the end credits, so keep watching for those. The dvd has the following language and subtitle options: Languages: English, Greek, Icelandic, Portugese. Subtitles: English, Greek, Icelandic, Portugese. The disc goes straight to the main menu when loaded with no extras or trailers. The only extra on the dvd is a fifteen minute long making of documentary, Which has more substance than the usual featurette for this kind of things, and is great fun and a good watch. There's also the usual flyer with code to download a digital version of it to a digital device.

Great, in HD, my 2-3 year old loves it and the great thing is that there are so many jokes for the adults that it is just as much fun for us to watch at the same time as the kids. also worthy of repeat viewing as so many easter eggs in the film.
