Sleeve Stars Ankle Brace Men & Women Support (Single/M:10"-12"/Black)

The compression sleeve arrived today. I wore it for approximately 8 hours. I have achilles tendinitis. It does offer relief. I still have pain when walking but nothing like I do without the sleeve. The added support makes a noticeable difference. I plan to continue to use it. I already ordered another. I purchased size medium. It fits snuggly without being too tight.

This provided good support to allow the tendon in my ankle to heal. I tried a brace without the elastic wrap and it did not work for me. I’m a female size 8 shoe. I got a medium & it worked ok. Maybe a little big, but I think a small would have been too small. It was easy to use each day & even after washings the quality seems good.

Background: I'm 64, very active athletically, but don't work on my feet all day. I started developing PF a few months ago from running (likely), and stopped doing that for various periods. The pain would ease up, but even after a month of rest it would start to hurt again if I even trotted small distances on an otherwise hike. It's gotten much better after almost 2 months of not running, but I can still feel it occasionally. I understand that PF can be healed, not just managed; hence, my purchase of this item. As of this writing I've been using it for four days. Pros: It fits fine and feels comfortable (mostly, see below). In just these few days, I haven't felt any of the PF pain or discomfort at all. Con: Can't wear it for more than a couple or a few hours. My plan was to wear it overnight, but every night so far it's begun to really hurt at some point. Not PF-like pain, but general pain, and too much to keep it on. Thus, I wear it in the evening and during the day for a while if possible, and have settled in to wearing it to bed but just taking it off when it starts to hurt in the middle of the night. Possible it may be too small, but it doesn't really feel that way. YMMV. Other than that, it actually does seem to be working. Would recommend trying it.

What a great ankle support/brace. I’ve been dealing with Achilles tendinitis for over a month now. Was using just a simple slip on compression support and though it was helping I felt like I needed more support around the back of my ankle. I ordered this and I have been very pleased with it. Been wearing it for several days now. I really like the fact that you slip the sock part on and then the straps that wrap around are separate and you can position them where you want and you can determine the amount of support and how tight or loose you want them to be. They fasten with Velcro. Definitely an improvement over my former ankle support. Wood buy again.

Absolutely amazing. Those 2 words sum up this brace, perfectly. I recently sprained my ankle badly, within 3 days it was healed, faster than just leaving the ankle alone and being off of it for weeks, easy to put on after reading instructions, i would recommend wearing socks with it as it does irritate the skin just a bit, but it's easily manageable. As for compression, it hugs the ankle perfectly depending on how tight you make it with the Velcro. Also, it's easily adjustable and the Velcro durability is great too, doesn't feel like it will come off easily and it fit into my size 9 shoes easily, mind you it took some time to get used to but when i did i barely felt like i had it on! 10/10 5 stars, would buy again~ <3

I think the sizing runs small. I got the small and measure the arch at the 9” mark which is the minimum and it feels very tight and there is no Room to loosen it. I have no swelling after a week since the sprained ankle so if it was swollen I don’t think this would be loose enough. Also with most injuries you are supposed to elevate foot and with this system the Velcro ties in the back and is not that comfortable and is bulky when elevated you rest on the Velcro. Instructions were ok. They are clear but the picture in the package is black on black and hard to see how finished look is. Stick diagrams are fine but they don’t tell you to pull the ends of the strap to the back and left me wondering. I think I will maybe return for a large size or get a refund. I am on the fence. After wearing elevated a couple of hours I’d like to take it off so I don’t think it’s that comfortable and is too tight.

I am absolutely thrilled with this ankle brace. It’s more like a sock and NOT a hard brace. I have a painful bunion and I can adjust the brace away from the bunion. The wrap around strap is highly adjustable. I have nerve pain and foot swelling. This product is very comfortable, flexible and supportive. It relieved my pain considerably. I am going to purchase more as a backup.

I initially bought a different sleeve ankle brace that, as the day progressed, would get tighter and tighter due to swelling and I couldn’t make it through the day with it. The Sleeve Star brace was much more comfortable and I could adjust the tightness over the day. The first couple of days I found the sleeve portion too short due to swelling but thanks to the band not being attached to the sock I was able to wear a compression stocking and just use the band with the stocking. Now that I’m further along with healing I can use the sleeve and band together and find it quite comfortable, and providing the support that I still need while continuing to heal. I would definitely recommend this brace.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought the light purple plantar fasciitis support bandage and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed with it. It has been absolutely exceptional! It comes in two pieces. There’s a little sleeve that fits over the foot and up around the ankle, and then a separate wraparound section that goes underneath the ankle, wraps around the foot and Velcros securely at the back. The difference is instantaneous. It takes away that horrible, deep pain right underneath the foot and gives such a lot of relief. My plantar fasciitis obviously hasn’t gone, but this has helped me so, so much, and I’m really hoping that with time it will eventually clear up completely. For the price, it’s fantastic value for money. If you suffer from plantar fasciitis, I would highly recommend giving this a try. It’s made such a difference to me! 💜

Dopo averlo usato la prima volta ho sentito dei benefici allucinanti, non avevo dolori rispetto a quando mi allenavo non usandolo! Speriamo mantenga la tua efficacia!

La cavigliera è ottima! Mi sono slogata una caviglia ed ho trascurato la cosa. Mi faceva sempre male ed aveva perso stabilità, quindi spesso cedeva. Ho acquistato questa cavigliera e ne sono pienamente soddisfatta. Si estende in orizzontale ma in verticale no, quindi tiene ben salda la caviglia e il malleolo dandogli una stabilità che ha favorito il recupero; la sto usando tutti i giorni, senza la fascia e la situazione è migliorata molto. E' un pò spessa quindi con le scarpe è impossibile usarla ma con dei sandali infradito sì. Con le scarpe da ginnastica o scarponcini, essendo molto più spessa di un calzino stringe un pò. Per leggeri problemi alla caviglia la consiglio.

Ook voelt hij in de loop vd dag te strak terwijl juist de losse strap eigenlijk te ruim is waardoor het lastig is dat je de sluiting maar op één manier kunt bevestigen. Niet aanpasbaar. Heb van een ander merk wat wél beviel een extra aangeschaft.

Très bon soutien, tissu de qualité, peut être porté sans difficulté toute la journée. Pas de transpiration. La bande amovible permet d’ajuster le serrage en fonction des besoins
