Tervis Travel Lid Made in USA Double Walled Insulated Tumbler Travel Cup Keeps Drinks Cold & Hot, Fits 16oz Tumblers, Mangrove Green

I lost the lid to my 16 oz tumbler and this fits it as a perfect replacement.*Note that this lid is only for 16oz Tervis TUMBLERS (tall, no handle), if you're looking for a lid for your 16oz MUG (stout, with handle) you'll need the 24oz travel lid.

This was a recommended item for the 16 oz Tervis mug. It does NOT fit and Amazon will not let you return it. I had purchased the mug and lid for my father with parkison's and wanted the lid to prevent him from spilling on himself. The reason I bought the mug was because it had a lid and looked more like a regular coffee mug than a travel mug. This is the first time in 10+ years, I have been unhappy with Amazon - Recommending products that don't fit together and not being able to return it.

This only fits the 16 oz tumblers. NO WHERE in the description does it say that it will not fit the mug.I called Tervis and found out that you have to buy the 24 oz lid to fit the 16 oz mug.Poor description - BEWARE OF SIZE!

I bought this lid for a 16 Dolphin cup by Tervis. It's a great complementary color for it, but there isn't much else notable.The one downside to all Tervis lids is the slider for the straw hole. It's easy to clean as long as it's an easily-washable liquid and you do not allow it to dry, otherwise you have to remove the spill-prevention slider thingie. It's not the hardest thing to remove, but the plastic will only take so much of that over time before the guides for the slider and the lid itself get stressed. I have not had one break on me yet after having a bunch of these for over a year, but that doesn't mean that it won't.Those white stress marks just look bad, though- some look like stains like the lid hasn't ever been washed. That is the biggest downside to ALL Tervis lids.

It's okay.I was given a cup with a lot like this, but the lid broke when my cat knocked it off the table. I bought this lid to replace it. This lid fits Perfectly. I think it fits even better than the old lid. With the old one, I would have to push on it like 4 different times in various spots to get it secure. This one secures instantly, and it even gives a satisfying click once on.As for leak proof, I haven't really put it to the test. My old one held up well, so I have hopes this one will, too. When I first received it, I immediately put an inch of water in the cup and flipped it over, and it didn't spill then, so we're already off to a good start. It also doesn't have one of those little air holes at the top, so when I flipped it over, it couldn't leak from that either (I had a boy try to prove me wrong with the old lid by flipping the cup over and it spilled all on his shirt through the air hole).My only problem is drinking from it. I open the sliding piece all the way, and I tip the cup upwards, and upwards, and upwards, and then maybe I might get a tiny bit of water to slowly come out of the opening. I've tried checking if the lid is on wrong or obstructed, but nothing seems to be causing it. I think it's just a design flaw. It's an absolute shame, because it makes me want to return it.As a side note, the T on the top looks like the T from the Tumblr logo, and I don't know how to feel about that.In the end, 6/10. It's a superb lid until you try to drink from it. I haven't washed it much or dropped it to know how durable it is yet, but so far its doing great. I just wish it poured the water out better.

This doesn't fit my cup, I think I ordered the wrong size so that's my mistake. But it can't be returned. I don't recall seeing anything when I ordered it that indicated it could not be returned. So annoying.......

I purchased this to replace a lid I had for probably 8 years. It had started leaking. After the new lid arrived I replaced the old with the new. I use my Tervis ALL the time. I immediately noticed as I was taking a drink,the water did not flow readily from the opening. Initially I thought ice was the culprit blocking the opening. I tried water without ice and the same situation occurred (?). This never happened with the old lid. I looked a little closer at the new lid and discovered the "breather hole" was exactly where my nose met the lid when I would take a drink, my nose obstructed the hole not allowing the pressure inside the Tervis to be equalized (created a vacuum). I don't have a big nose either! After this discovery I consciously tried to NOT place my nose on the lid when drinking. That didn't always work. I'd take a drink and instinctively have my nose on the lid and then realize the flow was cut off and move my nose away and then I'd receive an immediate deluge of water out the opening. Luckily I typically only drink ice water because the sudden pressure equalization would shoot out on my face and sometimes shirt. The "breather hole" on the old lid was located higher on the lid so there was no problem.I really like the new lid because it has a much more solid seal on my Tervis than the previous lid and the closing "flap" seems a little more stout. Maybe my anatomy of my face is just a fluke. I resolved the problem by just drilling a small hole a little higher in the lid so my nose would not interfere. I've included pics. Works Great now! No more wet face and shirt.Overall this is a VERY good lid which will serve me for a long time

I love my old cherry blossom tumbler and when I knocked it over and the lid got a small crack in by the straw opening I started looking for a replacement top- and found it! I also searched and found a 16oz mini-me Cherry Blossom tumbler which I also purchased!

The ad said "New (4) from..." So Silly me, I assumed I would get 4 lids for that price, I got 1 so WAY WAY expensive for a bit of molded plastic... Would not buy again - Too expensive for what you get.

I have several of there cups/mugs and use them with my glass straws. They stand up to the dishwasher and very hot water. Now I would not put the lid on and throw in my bag, but if you can stand it upright where it will not fall over than it is transportable. So not 100% leak proof.

The lid did not fit the cup, even though it was the right size. The lid did not snap onto the cup. I feel the cup may have expanded. It would have been better to buy the cup and lid together. Will not buy this product again.
