The main thing you have to know is that they are designed to have the last book leaning against a wall or something to prevent sliding. In my case i bought the superman too for support while creating a nice view of him pushing the books over the runaway fellas. On the more technical, for the superman bookend you would probably have to use a paperback book for the magnets to attach together as with hardbacks they dont, at least for the couple of hardbacks i tried. For the other one though it is the opposite. For the runaways, because the stand has smaller angle of elevation, the paperbacks slip a bit. The best way is to put a thin hardback first, which will hold nicely and then add any books you like. All in all, i consider it a great buy and totally recommend.

They're bookends, specifically for a kitchen - so you're going to pay a premium price for a niche product that is nearly impossible to find. I was satisfied with the look, feel, and quality of the product even though it was a lot more than I expected to spend. That being said, in this day and age try finding bookends - anywhere - and see how well you do. No one sells them anymore. I appreciate this vendor making these available, and had no regrets about paying the money for the product I wanted. They look great holding up all the cookbooks we've collected over the years.

Va usato mettendo come primo libro uno con copertina flessibile in quanto il magnete non è sufficientemente potente da fare presa con lo spessore della copertina di un cartonato, ma di seguito potete impilare tutti i libri che volete e stare tranqulli che superman non ve li farà cadere!
