Keeps it chilly
This is not a cheap cold box, but I wasn’t in the market for cheap. As long as it works , if it’s expensive and no good then I’m p-shed.This was brought for an all day and most of the night into the early hours bbq . This 55 litre box held close on to 80 chicken thighs, 48 burgers and 4 large packets of bangers. This was perfect as we had two bbqs to feed with that lot and didn’t want the hag of running in and out of the house , plus there wasn’t any room in the fridge. So we had a cooking area self contained with everything we needed to cook and serve. I also brought the cushion and for large ice blocks from the icey tek site, so i did spend a few quid. And I wasn’t disappointed we tipped three bags of ice in the box and then layed food and ice blocks and the ice was still frozen the following day . Bearing in mind that box was being open and shut all the time it done a great job .Build quality is good with very thick box walls and a good seal from lid to box body .Check out there website for videos, like I said not cheap but it’s a British company selling a quality product.
