I never would've considered this for my kiddo. She's outgoing and friendly- I thought she had a good grasp of social etiquette from watching me and her dad. She has ADHD and we found this book in the waiting room at Occupational Therapy one day. She became very interested in the social stories and I started to realize there are SO MANY THINGS about functioning as a human in a society that I had not taught her. Things I didn't think I *needed* to teach her, but turns out she had no idea. Things like how to be polite with gum in your mouth, how to communicate her feelings, and how to deal with frustration. I thought we had it covered, but every time we went to OT, we'd pick up this book and I'd be surprised all over again. I finally bought the book for us to have at home and she still loves to flip through it and learn more. Can't recommend this book enough!

Extremely helpful filled to the brim with tons of social stories to fit any occasion. We were headed on a family vacation that involved lots of experiences outside dear daughter's comfort zone. The social stories were a wonderful resource. Exhaustive selection of stories for any situation.

What a great tool this has been for my teacher toolbox. It does take some work to adapt to each student, but well worth it!

Good resource for parents and new therapists. Will help you understand why your child is struggling and how to help them. I've used it personally and professionally.

I gave 3 stars because I bought this for an adult with autism but the book is mostly geared towards young children. That being said, it is very comprehensive for ages 3 through elementary school.

Great resource for the therapist's repertoire. Full of great social stories to adapt.

I can't wait to use this with my patients who have a Social communication Disorder! It will be helpful for all ages, especially middle and high school.

My son doesn't have autism, but has ADHD and is dyslexic. The world is a little exhausting for him and he told me he thought this book was genius.

Revamped , re-organised 15th edition of the Social Story Bible. Well Worth getting this up to date version if you are regularly using social stories and reminding yourself of basic dos and don’ts. Carol is seriously inspiring , but don’t let anxiety about following Carol’s 10 criterion stop you getting on with writing stories to help kids understand stuff. Try it out, review, revise, revisit, add success stories . These are working documents...

Amazing amount of stories, well written, covering almost every sensitive subject for kids with autism. Could be used with teenagers as well

Dovrebbero fare la versione italiana. Il libro è ottimo anche perché, oltre esempi di storie sociali per ogni situazione tipo, da anche un cd con le storie in pdf adatte ad essere modificate/stampate.

Really good ideas in the book but would apriciate more adult topics as well. But would buy it again for sure
