What are dimensions of this amethyst crystal ? 1-1.5 lbs

Deborah, thank you for the question. Since each amethyst cluster is natural and varies dramatically, it is impractical to give you dimensions of a single cluster. Some are concave which makes them a little lighter. Some are wider. Some have a thicker base of volcanic rock on the back and base. The heights vary. We import directly from the mine in Uruguay and all purchases are based on pounds and that is how we are able to offer them. Please feel free to return your purchase if you are unhappy with it.

These are raw and unpolished? Also your store is linking to "superior " is that you too??

Thank you for your question. We currently have three listings. The photo shown is polished amethyst and "polished" is mentioned in the title. Superior Specimens is mostly natural clusters preferred by collectors who like each cluster to be unique even with inclusions of calcite. How do you clean the outer rock surface?

Thank you for asking this question. Your purchase of a polished amethyst cluster from Extreme Rocks will not need cleaning. If you are trying to clean a mineral deposit off the surface of other amethyst clusters, then I recommend a short application of cleaning vinegar. I would wash the vinegar off after a few minutes.
