As you can see I haven't reviewed a book in over a year. None have excited me enough to sit still and actually think of something to say.Jake Billings has no idea how he goes from being a low-key weed hustler opening his own store staying out the lime light to being a target for everyone he loves wanting him dead. Jake goes to jail for attempted murder and has no idea the hand he is about to be dealt. Instead of folding he holds his own.Once he hits the county jail, he receives anonymous murder threats. So let the games begin, Jake decides to shut the tv down and give it to whomever in the jail want it but he is not and he repeats not going to be a sitting duck for no one!One attempt after another on Jakes' life has not stopped his pursuit in the truth, they want war then its war its gone be is how Jake feels. Mr. Styles' made the character seem real, made you root for him thru out the entire story.I highly recommend this book, the timeline was a little off is the only bad thing I can say about it. It has you actually routing for Jake to come out of it no matter how much dirt he has to do to survive.

I love everything about the whole book Jake really was invincible he fought hard to the end . Write more books Styles P Please

I could be bias because I’m a huge lox fan but this book should be an Amazon prime or Netflix movie.

Great characters, just enough to keep you guessing in a who done it manner. It starts pretty quickly and keeps you n the edge. The writing was vivid and easily paints a picture of crime and distrust. You can tell it is early work from styles P. Which makes you want more of his work and also excited about his more polished work to come.Good reading

I saw Styles P promoting this book on Twitter so I decided to buy it for my husband. I made the mistake of reading an excerpt out of it before I gave it to him. Needless to say he didn't get the book right away. I couldn't put it down! From the first sentence to the very last, this book captivates u and drags u in to Jake's world with a front row seat! I finished the book in 7 hours! I cooked reading it, I ate reading it, I went to sleep reading it, I woke up reading it. When I say I could not put it down, that's and understatement. Styles P is a genius for this book. Movie needs to be made on this one! GENIUS!!

The book is well written for the target audience. There's no frills; this is not a masterpiece of literature, you won't find long descriptive words, just simple imagery - you'll just find what you would expect from Styles P; A good story-line, good characters, lots of action, lots of suspense.As a debut novel this is a great achievement for Styles. Any fan of Styles P will enjoy this book. Any fan of guns and drama and prison and hood tales will enjoy this book. It's not too long, which is good in a way, but it packs in a lot of twists and turns.Can't wait for the next one.

Incredibly well written. I did not expect much from my favorite rapper writing a book, but I was hooked from the beginning until the very end. Amazing just like his music.

This novel was written by Styles P. better known for his music. He wrote this on a Blackberry phone. Yet, he managed to produce a great piece of work that gripped me from the very first page to the very last.

The overall book was great, a few plot twisters.If your a fan of styles p this the book for you.It will keep you engaged throughout.A full hood book.Not that many swear words.A must buy.

This book is baaaaaaad!! Im not a big reader but this one is definitely worth reading!! I wish there was a part 2!!!

Really dope book from styles p he is known as one the best mc's in hip hop and his skills at coming up with rhymes is clear in the great storytelling he shows here
