Brilliant! Easy to set up with a luxor TV, had to try a couple of codes to get all the functions on a virgin v6 box, and used the search method for a sky soundbox all in my dining/kitchen.

I bought this to replace a Logitech Harmony remote which I had used for 10 years or more. At £12.99 for the "renewed" item it seemed that I had little to lose, and I would still say it is well worth the price, compared to at least 10 times that for current Harmony remote offerings. It is not programmable to the extent that a Harmony remote is, as it basically will operate each piece of equipment independently according to what you select (TV/ SAT/ DVD/ AMP). It does have some very limited "combi" set up options that I have not fully explored. The renewed item that I received was clean and vitually unmarked. The main drawback was the extremely limited set-up instructions. There are at least 3 different approaches to setting up the universal remote to control the specific items of equipment that you want to use it with. The bare bones of only one of these approaches was included with the renewed remote. I went online to the One For All website to download PDFs of the full procedural instructions and also the 4-digit codes for equipment listed by brands. I have not yet tried to see which of the setup approaches works best, but it is potentially a time-consuming process and is likely to take a fair bit of tweaking to program the buttons on the universal remote to do what you want them to do for each piece of equipment.Overall, I think this is a good value-for-money buy, considering the expensive alternatives. But you need to allow for the time and potential frustration in getting it set up exactly as you want it.And one other thing. At one place in the product description on the Amazon website it says that one CR2 battery is required (not supplied). On this basis I ordered CR2 batteries along with the remote. However, the remote is powerd by 4 AA batteries and a CR2 battery is not required.

The anti Tory Moto remote arrived but just like a Tory manifesto I couldn't get the remote to do what it promised I followed these bleak instructions and went on line watching various YouTube videos but after a few hours trying to get it to pair to my mother's skybox and sharp TV it was a dab hand at turning both off but y had resort to the original controllers to turn both back on.I only bought this as she recently had problems with the TV clicker so I wanted to make sure she had a backup, the only stars I feel I can honestly give it is two for entertainment as it kept me quiet for an hour or two trying to get it to work!!!

Iv`e tried every code on the internet page for Allforone R C, every code did not control the Goodmans TV Iv`e got. I think it was 20 codes. The original Remote was broken and I couldn`t join them to pass Control. Is there something else I can try?

Fairly easy to get it to learn from the IR remotes of other A/V components.I used a supplied code to set one mode to control my Sky+ box, and added learned codes of spare buttons to turn the TV on in that mode, and the sounbar, and to have volume control the soundbar.It doesn't show alphabetic mappings below the number keys, which is unhelpful.
