Good for the price
These aren't the thickest of bags, but at the size they are I can't see that there would ever be enough pressure to split them. I use these for my royal icing as they don't fit very much but you can get a nice small opening very easily. Wouldn't ever think about buttercream application with them.

Small but convenient, would recommend for cupcakes or ganache drip but not for larger cakes
They’re convenient for ganache drips! Really useful for chocolate and maybe if you were icing cupcakes and wanted lots of different colour they’d be good, but they’re really quite small. Not good for doing a lot of icing or buttercream. They’re also not very thick! I’ve used quite a few and one split on me, but that could have just been an anomaly. Overall, good but I probably wouldn’t buy again as they don’t really suit my purposes.
