Sticker Art Shapes: Vassily Kandinsky Paperback – April 28, 2008

I have purchased several of these for my 5 year old, in preparation for a museum heavy trip to Europe. In all the books, the stickers are heavier than 1 use, but probably won't go more than 2 or 3 uses. Some of the shapes are delicate and I had to help her lift them up to avoid ripping. My 5 year old likes the concept and enjoys making her own variations on the painters original work.The pieces in the Kandinsky book are all from his abstract period, the earliest from 1926. They work well for the sticker book concept, but don't expect any of the Blue Rider paintings.

I love the idea behind the sticker art shapes series and purchased them for classroom use. I knew as soon as I received the book that the reusable stickers would not be very reusable. I ended up taking the whole book apart, laminating everything, and added magents to it. Now I can use in my classroom and it's all sorts of awesome.

Los libros de pintores siempre son un acierto y Kandinsky no lo es menos. A mi sobrino le ha encantado.

Travaillant en maternelle sur les peintres (artistes en herbe), je cherchais à fabriquer des puzzles d'oeuvres d'art par photocopies et évidements puis j'ai trouvé cet ouvrage et celui de Calder.J'ai photocopié et plastifié les pièces que je fais poser sur le fond avec de la gomme bleue... effet garanti !Je n'ai pas utilisé l'original et ne peux rien dire sur le repositionnable...
