These mats make my paintings really pop. It dresses them nicely.

I print my own photos and needed some mats that looked good and didn't cost a fortune. I found these, they are sturdy and well made for the price and I'm very happy with my purchase. Would recommend to anyone.

Only slightly better than a throw away matt that comes with a cheap picture frame

These are true to size and looks great in my frames. Can't wait to finish my picture project!

So far these have worked wonderfully, I used them as a replacement for the cheap ones that come with the frames.I also wanted and acid free one since it would be housing acrylic paintings and not pictures.It looks good, and helps keep a little barrier between the painting and the glass.They are also really thick so you'll need enough room in the frame, becausenof this I had to trim the sides of them but only by like a centimeter so I didnt feel it was worth removing a star for.I also got a lot more than I actually needed in this package and would suggest maybe making a smaller buy option? But at least now I have more for when I get more paintingsThe idea is to get a painting for every country I visit!All around great framing options for paintings and photographs.

I ordered the picture mats for my 5x7 photos that I was packaging for sale. The 4.9x6.9" opening did not provide quite enough overlap with the 5x7" photos to make it easy to mount them. Trying to get the photos centered so that the mat covered all 4 sides was challenging and took several attempts for each photo. An opening of 4.75 x 6.75" opening would have provided a 1/8th inch overlap per side, rather than 1/20th inch overlap per side as these do. The mat board itself is on the thin side, but very acceptable for what I needed. The stack of mats arrived with a curve in it and needed gentle bending in the opposite direction to get them to lay flat. I will look for a different brand that is cut slightly smaller next time.

The mats themselves are fine. The packaging has a small flaw: the pieces are packaged by 10's and shrink wrapped, When unwrapped they tend to hold a bow until flattened with a weight for a few days. Anyone looking to use these quickly or without a frame could use this detail.

I bought several sizes of mats and when I opened them every one curled up quite dramatically. I tried to flatten them with heavy books on a hard surface and after a week they were still curling. I sell my photos in mats only, no frames because everybody likes different kinds of frames, so these are completely useless to me. I will never purchase them again. I have my own mat cutter so I will be cutting my own in the future.

I'm glad I didn't spend a lot of money on these mats. They do measure the size they're supposed to be; however, once I took the plastic wrap off they curled up. I laid them flat and put some heavy books on top and waited a few days but they're still bent. I was going to use them to mat some photos for a Christmas market last week but they were totally useless for what I needed. I'll hopefully be able to fit them inside a frame.

These mats are good quality, thick and the right colour (true white).The only reason for the 3 stars was the packaging. Unfortunately, they arrived with the corners damaged and there was no kind of support inside to prevent that from happening. They arrived in a bubble envelope with no structure protecting the corners.

The core of the mat is cream color and from my experience that it not acid free. The description did say the paper is acid. However the images show a white core on some of them, which is deceiving!

Colour is white, not cream, thank goodness. Sturdy, not too thin or flimsy. Arrived bent. Have a slightly nasty chemical smell. Outside dimensions are true 11" x 14". Opening dimensions are about 7.5" x 9.5". Wished they were closer to 8" x 10" as the things I want to frame will be too cropped for my liking.
