Requires a lot of patience.
Purchased these in 22nd April and got sprouts about three weeks to a month in. I replaced the lid with just cling film because I thought its lets the sunlight through better than the plastic lid it comes with. Just spray it with water occasionally to keep the container damp and keep whatever covering you're using tightly seal to keep the humidity in. Update: It is 21st June now and I have 12 cactus sprouts and some are beginning to show their spikes.

Eye-catching tin
Brought for a gift for a friend who likes growing plants indoors. The tin is eye-catching, good quality and size with clear instructions of how to grow the cactus. It was good belly for money.

Don't rely on the instructions!!
This is very simple to use - neat little colourful tin with everything you need inside - and as you can see, I got one seed to germinate and grow. Just don't follow the instructions for germination on the tin - they are really bad, and nowhere near enough detail. Just Google 'how to grow cacti from seed'. I'm very happy with my baby cactus (which is about 3 months old) and hoping I can keep it growing and thriving 🤞😊

Not a good purchase.
Not a great idea using metal can as rust forms on the bottom , since you need to water the thing. Also the it's extremely hard to make sure the seeds have been planted properly. After around two months of patience I have only one, very small shoot. I would not recommend this if you seriously want to grow cacti as you're better off buying a proper seed pack or a complete starter set.

Save your money , it doesn’t even sprout.
I give this 0 stars all round , it didn’t even sprout .We followed instructions to the letter . Wouldn’t buy again .

Patience is required
This was a lovely Mother's Day present from my daughters. Instructions are not good enough though - I'd suggest googling cactus growing instructions online. I kept the tin warm, well watered & under grow lights. Seedlings started to sprout after 4 weeks, and now have 10 seedlings after 6 weeks. Patience is needed when growing cacti. A mixture of cactus types are growing, and I look forward to watching them mature

DON'T GIVE UP ON THIS!! Mine sprouted after a long time!
Mine sprouted three weeks after buying this, a third seed sprouted today, over a month after purchase! Keep the dirt moist while the seeds are in there and keep the lid on. I also bought a led lamp that's on a timer because I don't get good sunlight in my room. Don't be quick to chuck this away and be patient! UPDATE: A fourth seed just sprouted !!

Nice
Got as a secret Santa gift, and planted back in march, so a little over 6 months growth - looking great, and about ready to upsize into a bigger pot. Needs more water than I expected, which might explain some of the limited results that others experienced.
