So delicious!! The recipe called for 4Tbs of butter, but also said 8Tbl would make it taste even better. I did the 8Tbs, but next time I'll probable do just 6Tbs as it's a little too buttery. It's very good though. 👍 😊

I love this brand for butter mochi. They worked great. They are a ok price, but otherwise it works great just wish it was a little cheaper.

This is excellent. It is a bit sweeter than the Butter Mochi I've had *in* Hawaii over the years (I lived there for 6 years on the Big Island) but that isn't a big difference. Two tips - 1) Make it in a slightly smaller pan than recommended if you have it. It's easier to cut, serve, and eat. However if you like the golden part on top- use the same size pan, not bigger - it tends to lay unevenly otherwise. 2) There is a version where you can make it with extra butter. I highly recommend NOT doing so. The mix doesn't seem to be sufficient to hold the butter which means it leaks out on pans, hands, plates, napkins, all of the above. The amount of butter for the normal recipe is perfect!
