This waterlily is advertised as hardy however further research says it is tropical. Is it misadvertised?

FYI - I have a question to the seller regarding this lily now. I have not received a response. We currently have lilies and have grown them successfully for years. We did plant the 3 lilies we received. None of them have shown any growth. This seems unusual. I went by the description of "Hardy" . Hopefully we both will get some resolution.

How do I plant it ? I put soil on a container and poured water on it and I have the bulb soaking in some water but when will it be ready to plant ?

These are tropical plants. most likely it will die. Forget it Ask a garden shop

Is this a true blue lilly?

Yes and gorgeous,but a raccoon dug man up and took off with them,so my beautiful dream is shot.Last year I bouht and how they bloomed.Blueand magicall looking.

Would i need to bring inside during the frozen Winter?

My other water lilies I leave in the pond, as yet we have not had a really hard winter so I cannot give you an answer on the Nymphaea King as I just purchased this one......you will need to ask someone who has had this particular water lily for a period of time.......
