I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who likes LitRPG and progression types of books with lots of action.

Action!
I should have reviewed the first two, but was too busy reading to take the time. So far, this is my second favorite cultivation series. Right behind another series focusing on a boy named Lindon. It is close though. I am thoroughly amazed at how action packed this series is. The writing is fantastic and the main character never gets to rest. Where most books have one big fight to cap the story, this series will have 4 or 5 throughout. Truly enjoyable to read.

pretty good
Main powers up in some weird ways. Makes some connections in strange ways. Nice pivot for the series. I hope the series continues.

A great story that sets up an epic 4th book.
considering the book dropped three days ago. This was an incredibly satisfying continuation of the SF&TWH saga, to the point that I blew threw it in a day. "Magic schoolhouse" is a fun trope, and while this book didn't delve to far into that aspect, it was present. One of my gripes of the previous novel was that it didn't really deal with the fates of the characters of the first novel, so I was glad that their stories were furthered, though off screen. While this book is great, in and of itself, I am very excited for the foundations it set for an even more epic 4th book. I am excited to see the reunion of Alex, the Alchemist, and his daughter, and to see how Alex continues to deal with the wide array of enemies he has accrued.I bought this book, even though I have KU, and read it in a day. I'm looking forward to devouring the next the same way.

non political fun
I appreciate a read that is just a fun action adventure that does not feel like a textbook with complicated wuxia,.

Feels better and better
Loved it again. In my previous review I felt the MC was up against such fearsome odds, continously getting beat down, it was starting to take away some of my enjoyment. But, in this book I only got this feeling once and briefly. In fact, its getting clearer whats happening and why the MC is up against such odds and he overcomes them spectacularly. One thing as a tip for the writer: I've noticed new techniques etc keep 'clicking' for the MC. I believe a little more inspiration would be good. I think more then just stress is needed to gain enlightenment.I do wonder if at this pace it won't take centuries IRL for Alex to reach gold or jade. I sincerely hope the story arc has been jotted down in advance or things might start getting rushed later on, which happens a lot in webnovels.

Looking forward to the next one.
This is a really entertaining read and I love the series so far. MC is likeable and believable, supporting characters are solid and the world building top notch.Unfortunately throughout the series there are some developmental flaws that in an otherwise polished and enjoyable novel stands out like a sore thumb. In this books case it's the garden statue. It was just thrown in haphazardly as a last minute change I'm guessing to avoid having to do any rewrites... And where it was placed and how it was pulled off didn't work. It fit ultimately but it's intro was jarring and disorienting.

Only issue is that the books make me wait.
See, it's very well paced and written, with excellent quality world building if you understand intriguing. Well, having a basic understanding of other cultures wouldn't hurt.I'm afraid my only concern is... well, I have a reading retention that blew them out of the scale for sats in high school, despite my dyslexic and dysgraphia. So I speed read, but I don't apply myself as much as our hero does. I also may mis minor issues like spelling, due to my leaning disorder.I still over all recommend it, as it was well paced. Very well formatted, and I've read all 3 without being bored. If that's not an upvote you should reevaluate you lack of lexicon.
