Poor Quality
These are not made well. The plastic is not thick enough to hold up to the intended use. Within a few weeks both of my cups broke while blending, in the same place as other pictures have shown, creating a huge mess. This product also has a short return/replacement window. Do not recommend.

Better than a glass jar
I was motivated to purchase these Oster style mixing jars because the Mason jar I had been using was problematic. The gasket for the blade would occasionally slip off the lip of the jar as I tightened the base causing the contents of my shake to leak all over my blender. These jars are large enough to accommodate all the ingredients I use from my daily protein shake with room to spare. The jar is manufactured with very flat surface that keeps the gasket firmly seated so no more leaking messes. You'll need a baby bottle brush to get all the way to the bottom of the jar for cleaning as my fat hand will not fit. Cleaning is relatively easy with the exception of the hollow areas behind the little ears that prevent the jar from spinning if left unattended while the blender is running. It takes patient brushing to get those hollow areas clean. Quality is very good as, after using them daily for the past several weeks they appear as brand new. Cleaning tip, fill the jar with hot water and a drop or two of dish detergent then attach the blade and run at top speed for several seconds. This cleans both the jar and the blade so all that is needed is a good rinse.

Better than the ones that came with the blender!
These seem to clean easier and are less flimsy than the one that came with my blender. My old one broke inside the little cavity that stops the cup from spinning in the blender, right on the moulding seam. I used to have to dig in there with a little cleaning tool, and the tool popped right through. These new ones clean so easy I never have to dig in there. Also, the lids are easier to open. We used to struggle to get the top to flip up to drink out of it before. All around

Poorly designed
Terrible caps. They don't open enough to drink out of. Way overpriced, but I couldn't find anything else to use. My mason jars kept cracking, so I needed something unbreakable. Luckily, I have caps for my mason jars. This will have to do until someone comes up with a better solution.

So uhh.... THIS happened. (very useful review, pinky swearrr)
Well, I'm just going to start off by saying I absolutely loathe Oster cups. These are the bane of all existence... If I had a dollar for every cup I've had to replace (including the original manufacturer Oster classic+ with duralast ---pftt, duralast my a**🥴--) I'd have exactly three dollars! You know what you can buy with three dollars?! Me neither. Not a lot... maybe a gallon of gas if you're lucky Lol... But anyways, manufacturers cup split down the seam and sprayed EVERYWHERE (Who the heckin puts a SEAM down the side of a plastic blender cup anyways?!?) but these cups of these, I figured they'd be the answer to all my prayers! I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount on the replacement manufacturers cups, so bought these April 1st, so, here I am, I use it every single day for my protein smoothie, I crush ice in it, it's been fine and then I'm now standing in my kitchen April 27th, 2024...first, I leaned against my counter to reach for my protein powder and already gave myself a half a heart attack from accidentally turning on the blender leaning against it (So, my adrenaline is already high at this point, but I'm laughing hysterically at myself naturally) then, as I'm going to crush my ice (it tried to autocorrectrd to eyes for some reason lol), in the blink of an eye, BOOOOOOMMMM! 💥 Ice flies everywhere and I was wondering what the heck happened and then realized there was a hole in the cup and I'm not even mad because I was laughing so hard at just the whole situation lol...But yeah, moral of the story these cups kinda suck... But they get the job done for liquid, powders, carrots, and even a wee bit of ice here and there... But by itself, nope. Don't risk it unless you wanna lose an eye and one of these cups lol.
