How is the call quality?

I've used them several times now during calls and I was quite impressed. Once, I was mowing the lawn. The lawn mower was still running (idling) and I could clearly hear the caller and the caller had no issues hearing me.

Can you use one earbud at a time?

Yes, you can take one earbud out from the charging case and pair it with your phone.

Which side has the mic? I can only use the left one because I cannot hear in my right ear.

Both sides have mic. Maybe there is a foreign body in the sound hole, please clean the ear cap. Moreover, please confirm if your right earbud have connect to your left earbud, if not, please disconnect the Bluetooth setting and then reconnect earbuds to your phone.
