Very disappointed in this product
Do not bother buying this! I purchased this in Oct of 2016. So excited to use it. The first day it went below freezing (it was 22 degrees), it froze solid. Very disappointed in this product. Very expensive to not work like they advertise. I would definitely pause before buying something from Solar Sipper again.

This is the best, fresh water bird feeder!
We enjoy watching our Solar Sipper in summer & winter in Minnesota. Birds love it. Yes, It freezes on some winter days, but thaws and the birds are back. Keeps water fresh. We have had it for many years and I have given them as gifts to bird loving friends. Ours came with a black hanger that we hooked to the porch railing.

Solar bird sipper prevents water from freezing as long as it is kept in sunny spot. Bring in at night as will freeze in dark. Easier to bring in than chip out ice in morning. I just leave on table on porch & birds go right to it. They use it all summer also. Water stays clean because leaves etc. cannot fall into it. I like that it is low profile and easy to move if necessary. Price is excellent.

I love this but the water does freeze overnight in the winter. I just break the ice in the morning so the birds can get at the water.

Didn't work in winter. Water froze in it. Lid came off all the time
