After my last metal sign's lettering faded (over 7 years old) I decided to get a replacement. I searched throughout Amazon and selected this one. It is pretty large and the lettering is nice and bold which makes is visible to dog walkers. This is made a heavy thickness metal which makes if exceptionally sturdy. It will require a metal post of some sort to attach the sign to. I used a 4 foot metal fencing stake and it has worked very well. I prefer the fence staking because it is about 2 inches wide giving the sign enough backing that is won't wobble in the wind. And the stake will be very difficult to pull out if folks decided they were not keen on my sign. I haven't gone out at night to see if it is truly reflective at night. But vast majority of dog walkers are daytime users.Does it work? You bet. Since installing the sign I have not had to clean up after other people's dogs not even ONCE. I am so happy to be able to walk out to get my mail without having to dodge poop land mines.I purchased a second metal sign off Amazon to add a little humor to the issue. Some folks are not into cleaning up after their dogs. Little dogs are not a big deal to clean up after but a Rotti for example, well that is a BIG deal. So I thought that maybe a little humor might defuse any hard feelings. That ones says "The Poo Fairy Doesn't Live Here. Please clean up after your dog". That sign took several weeks to arrive. But it was worth the wait IMO.

I live on a corner, my yard has lots of brushy wilderness on one street side ... and dog owners think it's okay to let their pets unload in that brushy wilderness. I am simply fed up with picking up other dogs' poo from my yard. I mean ... I pick up my dogs' poo but I don't think it's right to soil other people's bundle of rights with pet poo. I always carry bags with me for my Pomeranian and German Shepherd. It's the right thing to do as a pet owner!Frustrated, I ordered two of these signs and I have affixed one to the speed limit/no parking this side of street signs installed by the town. While the poo problem isn't entirely eliminated, it has whittled down to a bare minimum, which is a lot better than it was. I also think that because I live in a resort area with lots of tourists the mind set is different than in a primary residence neighbourhood where you get to see the same people walk their dogs all the time. So ... that said, and all things considered, I think this has been a better deterrent than me shouting out of my kitchen window at pooping perps to pick up their poo packages or me dashing out into the street with poo bags. Of course, there will always be the random illiterate pet owner and dog off the leash that will poo with reckless abandon.... but this sign has helped with my poo predicament.

This has solved our problem with neighbors not cleaning up after their dogs on our lawn. I will admit, our location in the neighborhood makes an easy place for dogs to stop and I have no problem with that. I love dogs. However, owners need to be responsible and clean up. Putting this sign up is a friendly, easy way to remind people to clean up after their dogs. I didn't have to go out and talk to anyone or have any confrontations. The sign is a great size. It is big enough to be easily seen but not so big that it is an eye sore. I like the color combination too. It seems to be made of high quality materials and has held up great through snow, rain and ice. I have had this in the yard for almost 5 months and it looks as good as the day I put it in. There has been no cracking or peeling. The colors have not chipped or faded. I would highly recommend this sign as a way to solve your yard clean up problems. It is a friendly, gentle reminder to dog owners. Since installing this sign, we have not had any dog clean up problems and we have been able to stay on good terms with all our neighbors and their dogs.

So far it seems to work they haven’t pooped in front of my property😂😂😂

I got this for my mom whose neighbor was stopping by Mom's yard with her dog and letting it dump there without picking it up. Mom put the sign out and that was enough for a conversation to start between the neighbor and her.

This sign is a polite, direct way to ask dog-walkers to be responsible for their animal friends. We placed four in our immediate neighborhood and noticed others up in adjacent areas afterward. It’s taken care of the problem!

I recently purchased my first home and about 3 days after moving in I found out what kind of pain it is to live on a corner lot. The sign hasn't been installed outside on my fence yet, but if I find one more landmine I'm going to turn into that stereotypical old man yelling at kids from his porch to 'Get off my Lawn!'

The quality of the sign was really nice. looks like a city sign. Price was good too.I mounted the sign to my wooden fence 4 days ago, seems to be working well. Dog owners have been picking up after their dogs. Hope this sign serves as a constant reminder to them, I was tired of cleaning up after their dogs. Hopefully my kids will be able to play on the grass now.

Sign is great! My only concern was how big it is. The sign is exactly the size you would see on trails or dog parks. I personally didn’t want to put that big of a sign on the grass area beside the sidewalk that is actually city property. I found that it would be too ‘loud’ to post. Would have rathered something half the size.

This product is much larger than what I had expected. I should have taken note of the size measurements. It is of good quality, it will be reflective at night.. simular to the street signs. I have not put it up as of yet. I believe I will attach it to a garbage container with some poop bags for easy clean up. Thanks
