I like this product. I bought it for being caught out in harsh conditions on the hills. You can put it over yourself and your kit whilst you walk. It can also make a good shelter. I’m happy with it.

This poncho is fantastic at keeping you nice and dry. I wore it during a recent walk on my local moorlands in heavy rain (intermittently) torrential which persisted for around 4 hours and my clothes remained perfectly dry underneath as did my camera and belongings. It's a great size and if you are wearing a rucksack it is large enough to wear over the top of your rucksack as well. Teamed with waterproof trousers it's the perfect addition for walking in the unpredictable weather that we have in this country! When not in use it comes with a handy bag that can be popped inside your rucksack for whenever you need it. I highly recommend this item and it arrived very quickly as well.

I like to walk as much as possible but dont like wearing to much clothing as with age i sweat alot as also like speed walking and wanted something cheap and light to stick in the bottom of my back pack and this is perfect,I thought it would maybe a bit crap for £5.99 but its worth every penny,in fact im going to order another for my mate,I also like it as its huge so good to wear more warmer clothes underneath if needed,

This has come in handy for my recent holiday. However, a few things to note:- the 50 x 80 is REALLY wide, great if you’re a bigger person or have lots of stuff to cover but for a fairly average size person is probably too big. The other side of this is that if you are anywhere windy you will blow up like a balloon too and expose your body to the rain- the sides under the arms are fastened using two poppers each side. This means there are quite big gaps between poppers.- the sleeves aren’t quite long enough to cover normal length arms, my jumper sleeves got wet because of this- the length is to the knees (I’m 5’6) so will expose your lower legs even when not windySo, in summary this is a useful rain poncho for standard, brief use but it may not do the job if you’re relying on it for many hours on a very windy hike.

Saving it for a rainy day. I don’t like the pouch it comes in - it really doesn’t deserve such a nasty cheap plastic pouch but hey- I can replace that. It will cover me and my rucksack without any problems.
