I wish international banks do not function like Sandeep did.

great writing from page 1
This is a book on Indian mindset about life and banking. Proves that virtues have greater meaning in life and not power. 2 nd book I read of the same writer. Like him already.

Good account of Indian consumer banking world
A good in-depth account of how Indian consumer banking industry works. Shows the aspirations, passion and greed of the people quite well. A nice narrative that keeps you glued till the end.

Dont let success get to you
It is true when people say "Dont let success get to you". Be nice to people on your way up the corporate ladder since those are the very same people whose paths you will pass on your way down.....

Great book for corporate guys
My first of author Ravi Subramaniam.I just didn't want to keep the book down. Haven't read newspaper since I took this book up for read.Engaging, thrilling and entertaining. It's a Masala. Lot to learn about corporates and how things move. Many of these I have witnessed and few of these experienced it myself. Above all, we are all human and we have emotions, hence, good relationship is always a savior in the form of God.

Can he done in one sitting!!
Having read all fictional novels from the author (except 2),it was time for his debut novel.Subject = Financial Thriller =5/5Story Telling Skills = 5/5Treatment,Content and Execution =4/5Classic Pageturner from the GOAT! Superb pace and as a reader, you will feel connected to the characters.Issues - There were few loopholes in treatment like giving responsibility to novices (but it helped the novel),MF scandal (required better explanation). The last part was bit slow and the ending could have been different.Nonetheless, not bad for a debut!

Great insight into 80's banking structure...
What an author, Mind blowing narrative...I thought this would be a boring book, but as first 10% went, it slowly became quite exciting. Absolute page turner. I was actually rooting for the guy who turned out to be the villian. Silly me. But this book kinda showed the work culture of early foreign banking in India. I won't give any spoilers, but if a hardcore sci-fi fanatic like me can enjoy this, I'm sure anyone can.

Engaging, ok read
The structure of the book is typical - there is good and bad. Makes the reader take sides. It elicits stereotypes in the corporate world, at times u wonder if the author holds the same stereotypes, especially gender related
