The spatula served its purpose very well. I have zero complaints. It showed no signs of heat damage, preserves the frying pan and easily gets under things like sunny side up eggs. The reason I’m writing this review though is the customer service. After a couple of years of use, the silicone surrounding the metal core of the spatula tore up a bit in the corner. I could still use it, but felt that some food is stuck inside and I can’t get it out, so in the trash bin it went. I expected this to happen from the beginning; the design allows the spatula to be thin and rigid, but will inevitably lead to silicone tearing at some point. I went to Amazon to buy the same spatula again and only then noticed that it has a lifetime warranty! I never used one before because they usually have so many “conditions “ that they become useless. This time I decided to try. Got in touch with the company through Amazon. They asked for a photo of the damaged spatula. I said that I already threw it out expecting them to reply: sorry. THEY SENT ME A NEW ONE! A product is only as good as the backup it gets from the company. Based on my experience you can buy this one without a second thought.

I bought this about 5 years ago.And we use it at least five times a week. Silicone separated , so I was going to buy another one, but whenever I searched past orders, I realized that it was under warranty. Contacted the company set proof of purchase and they sent me a new and right away. I definite.\nLy will recommend this to other people.

Thin and flexible yet strong, and the silicone coating is not only safe to use on non-stick cookware it won't leach plastics into our food. After about six years of regular use the spatula developed a tear in the silicone edge. The manufacturer provided a prompt free replacement.

I love this spatula and use it every day. I have a 2nd one in a larger size. It is sturdy yet more gentle on my good cookware than any other spatulas I’ve owned. The edges are slightly flexible and it doesn’t melt or distort from high heat. The handle is not high heat resistant so it can’t rest on the pan edge without distorting. I just replaced the first one I had for a few years; a small crack developed on the top corner (between the coating and metal core) allowing food to collect. But I like and use this spatula so much, I just bought the same one again. I see the manufacturer has a replacement warranty, which I didn’t use.

What an Insainly well made spatula! He sure to register your products with DI ORO on their website to maintain that warranty. It's just glides over pans, and is flexible enough to scoop, but firm enough to keep the structure strong. It's Insainly easy to clean. Grime just slides right off the silicone. I was skeptical at first, but wow. I get why it's expensive, but it might be the last spatula you ever buy.

This is our second purchase of this spatula. The first one is still going strong, but we liked it so much that we wanted another. These are absolutely the best spatulas you can buy. It is the perfect size, stiff in the handle and on the flat part, and won't melt or warp like all the plastic spatulas. The flat part is made of metal but is covered in a strong silicon to prevent it from scratching pans. They have perfected this kitchen utensil. We have tried many spatulas over the years, from expensive to cheap and this one is our favorite. The only thing that may be a problem for some, is that you can't use this spatula to roughly scrape the bottom of a pan like you can with a plastic one. The tip of this spatula is covered in silicon and it will not scrape a pan like that. Spatulas are are not made for hard scraping so I will not remove any stars for this.

I was looking for a proper omelette flipper since my spatulas either had rough ends from burning or just warped/melted over time. I got tired of cheap spatulas from insert random Chinese brand here. I saw that di Oro was highly rated on Amazon.com, so I looked into why. Turns out, they're an American company who specializes in a few small kitchen objects only: spatulas, peelers, and Keurig re-usable filters. •• Durability, Flexibility & Heat Resistance •• Di Oro makes a heck of a spatula. I've been using it for a month, making a 3 egg omelette EVERY morning. The spatula is thin enough to get under the tiniest foods. It's expertly balances flexibility with sturdiness. It's amazing for eggs, pancakes, and other light foods. Since it's oven safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, I tend to leave it resting against my saute pan when on medium low. It's supremely non-stick. It picks up the tiniest amount of egg, but that egg slides off effortlessly. My own experience is that after a month of daily use, it looks brand new with zero warping or fraying. I agree with that other reviewer; I'd be shocked if it didn't last years. •• Conclusion •• I didn't think I'd be writing a review of this "depth" for a Spatula, but it's honestly one of my favourite new tools in the kitchen. If you want something quality that's going to last, the Flex Standard is an excellent choice. Update 06/13/2019: 7 months later, it looks brand new. It's been super easy to wash and extremely useful. I doubly recommend it now :) Update 10/14/2020: Many moons later, it's beautiful. I use it for so many things. I so appreciate its heat resistance. Many times I've let it slide unattentively down the side of a hot pan without having a problem. I'll be recommending this spatula for years.

Ho comprato questa spatola per un uso prettamente casalingo, la certificazione che si porta appresso è sinonimo di qualità Pro: Robusta Resiste effettivamente a calori estremi (usata per grigliare un filetto) La parte interna è di acciaio quindi mantiene una buona elasticità senza far cadere carni anche di grosse dimensioni, facilmente lavabile Contro: Nessuno per ora, ci sono spatole di noti marchi blastonati che valgono 1/4 Consigliata.
