How long can I wear this for in a day?

I wore mine for 10+ hours for wedding. It was form fitting and smoothing for me. The top came to the bottom of my regular bra so there was zero conflict and bunching. Only struggle was pulling on and off to go the bathroom. Bought a Large and I wear size 12-14

My hips are 39 in and my waist is 27 in what size I get?

I bought a size smaller than I usually wear because I wanted it to tuck in my belly and it fits perfectly.

Is this measured by the waist or hip?

On the Amazon site, scroll down and you will see a manufacturer's size chart. I hope this helps. I know this product helped me look better!
