I decided to try the Masman because I wasn't too keen on making it myself at home. All natural ingredients! No nasty additives! Tastes amazing - just as good as my homemade paste recipe. I am not Thai, but this is as good as I've had in restaurants. Might need a touch more heat for you - the heat is not overpowering. This is a great solution for a quick weeknight meal, and it's delicious. Definitely a pantry staple at our house now!

Lobo is the best brand of prepared Thai curry paste. Great taste! Others are all salt! You won’t be disappointed with Lobo.

Flavor seems ok. I'll let you know as we make the different dishes. A bit pricey.

The Mae ploy massaman paste mom always used has been tasting incredibly salty and not spicy at all.So..I bought several different brands of massaman curry to pick a new winner via blind taste test, and this easily won the majority of votes. The resulting massaman was flavorful and spicy without being overwhelmingly hot or salty. It was exactly what I wanted.I like that it's multiple packs, so I can have extra on hand for a quick and easy dinner.

Perfect for homemade peanut sauce. Nice flavor in this paste.

I normally love massaman curry but wasn't fond of the flavor of this product.

This is the stuff our guide told us to buy when touring Thailand. It is AMAZING. This is the legit same stuff, even the english instructions/ingredients are an add on sticker. If you want the real deal, this is it.Fair warning, it will ruin you for any other easier to get ahold of brand. You will become a hipster level curry snob like me. :)
