TACTACAM Fish-i Wide Lens Fishing Action Camera

Companion app is a bit wonky, but does everything I need it to. Haven't tested underwater yet.

I bought the Tactacam Fish-I a few months ago and sadly didn't have the opportunity to use in water until a few days ago. Being underwater for only a few minutes, the camera stopped working. When I looked at the camera, the battery/card area was locked in place so it should have been completely sealed. I removed the case to find that the battery area was filled with water. My buddy who purchased one a few days after I did, found to have the same issue. For a waterproof camera, the camera should actually be waterproof. But do to the fact that I have had the camera over 30 days, it can not be returned. I called up the number for Tactacam and was told that they could not do anything for me. I do not know if this is a typical issue or a two off kind of thing. I say two because both mine and my buddies did the same thing. In my opinion, DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA. It does not work as described and a 100% waste of money. Especially when you have already bought multiple batteries and charger for it and can't use them either now.

I put the cam at the end of a 3 meter selfie pole with a light. Then put the cam underwater to see what I could see. Took clear video, no issues with water getting into the works. Very satisfied!

I have purchased two of these cameras. All things considered, the product price is excellent. This package includes, a charger block, charge cord, universal mount ring, elastic head strap, soft bag for camera and lens cleaning cloth. The universal mounting ring will attach to any “GoPro” style accessories. Some Tactacam POV cameras don’t include any mounts. These are designed as fishing cameras. They are not simply Tactacam 5.0 cameras that have green skin. I bought these to use when hunting. I have since discovered that they will not withstand the recoil of a rifle or shotgun when mounted to the firearm. They will shut off and will not power on until you reseat the battery. You could use one are a head cam, or possibly attached to a bow. I attached one to a crossbow and it worked well. Used as designed, I think these are very nice POV cameras. The video quality is very good, considering the price point.

No longer works. Only had it for 2 years

The fish-I camera has been great! I bought a remote to go with it and it has changed the way I film my fishing trips. I’m still figuring out some of the features and how the app works to dial in my system. There could be a more in-depth tutorial for the camera and the app. I have found that you need to be closer to the camera for the audio to pick up well. I also plan to use it deer hunting in conjunction with a 5.0 to get the shot of the hunter. I’ll be able to turn them both on with the remote at the same time. Overall, it has been great and I would buy again.

Works well as a first person camera. Not designed for use on anything with recoil. The app leave much to be desired. Have use a 5 year old android phone to use the app.

Doesn't sync w app due to comparability issues but I pull the memory card and put in PC to download videos and photos. Wonderful images. Love my Fish-i !!!

I can not connect it to the app. The app is crashing. I can't tell you anything else, because I can't get to it.
