Needed this to allow use of some appliances brought back from living in USA. I had previously bought a similar product which you had to move a pin to set the from/to voltage which could lead to error. This device is automatic so risk free. Also previous device “hummed” this one is much quieter. Also very robust . First one I received was damaged in transit but was replace promptly with no issue. Would recommend

I like this transformer as it enables you to plug in 110v and 240v devices. The USB is also very useful. I bought this to power an American 110v waffle maker. It provides enough power for this device where many others don't. I like the compact shape, better than other larger 'test bench' transformers. It fits well on kitchen surfaces.

The hum is normal for transformers, but I have encountered quiet ones that do much the same thing. Very practical. Basic, yes, no major frills, but if that's all you need (and it's all I ever need) then I have no problems recommending it.

Firstly, it seems to work. However, when I opened the box I noted no instructions. Not that I or many others would need them but, surprising to not get at least a warning about how to use and not to use. Then when I got it out the box, I rolled it over to look at all sides and angles, as one does, to hear a rattle inside from what I assumes to be a loose fitting inside. Nevertheless, I plugged it in and turned it on. One main light came on but no display, nada, nothing. So I am left to wonder if it is goosed or if it works. I would ask the supplier these questions....should I try to get it working or what?

It is a bit heavy but working perfectly. I`m using it for US appliances daily in the UK. Never get any problem
