Durable, love it
Iโve had this for almost 10 years and itโs held up perfectly! I use it often to make burgers and I like the open ended ring as I allows me to form burgers in an assembly line manner and I donโt have to flip the item over to get the burgers out and ruin the shape. It goes into the dishwasher and cleans up easily. As a bonus, itโs made in the USA, or at least mine was when I bought it.

After a small learning curve, this thing makes my burgers AMAZING.
Update: 3/18/15Just made my first burgers of the season this year. I have this thing down perfectly. My burgers tasted amazing, and I used bacon bits and habanero cheese in the middle. It melted PERFECTLY into the burger, and the juice was insane. Even well done, the burger was dripping. It takes a while to get it down, but once you do, your burgers will never be the same. It takes me about five minutes per burger, hand shredding the cheese, and it's worth every minute. I love it.First off, let me say that I am an impressive burger chef, and the burger press with rings really took my burgers to the next level. That being said, I looked forward to taking my weekend meals to the next level. I ordered this press hoping my burgers would turn out how they look in the pics, but they did not. I don't think the pictures are misleading, but I think there is a learning curve. My burgers came out great, and the stuff I put in the center (two cheeses I shredded myself, some bacon bits, and shredded jalapenos) stayed there, but you could easily see how I put two burgers together, not that I had one single burger with stuffing. It would have easily come apart had I not been careful. FYI, I always boil the juice to the top of the burger, and then flip it over and let the juices boil to the top again. Then it's done. Again, I love this idea of the stuffed burger. I'm just not sure if I'm doing it right. I'm going to give it a few more tries, and I'll update my review as I do.10/15/13After another try, I do like the press. Just keep in mind, it'll take you 2-4 times to use this before you figure out exactly what's right for you and how to use it more efficiently. I'm going to use it again this Saturday with a buddy of mine who could earn a living with his burgers. Hopefully all goes well.

Wish it were a little smaller
I am a member of weight watchers and therefore and limited in my serving sizes. I like this burger pocket press but it's made for a much larger amount of ground meat than is actually in a recommended serving size! Other than that though I like it. I've had it less than a week and have already used it twice. Once for ground beef and the other for ground turkey. Both times worked ok but that's only because I used only 5 ounces of ground meat. It shrinks down to 4 ounces when you cook it which is what the recommended serving size is. Had I used more ground meat it would've held together and been much easier to deal with.

Works great!
Happy I finally got this. If you follow the directions it's pretty hard to mess it up. I admit to looking at the video on youtube to make sure I understood, but it's really easy. I used exactly one pound of ground chuck to make two stuffed burgers, and they came out just perfect. I really didn't get this so much for stuffed burgers, but more to be able to make consistent sizes for regular burgers, which it can also be used for, but now that I see how easy it is to make the stuffed ones, I'll be doing that more often too. There are a couple of things I'd change, but that's just my own preference. I'd like it if it was a bit bigger around, since we like have larger diameter burgers that are a little flatter for quicker cooking. I'd also would be a little happier if the numbers showing on each piece were a lot easier to see, since the directions mention using them by number, but really, once you've done the thing once, you really don't need guidance again. It is necessary to clean the parts off after two burgers, or things start to get stuck and getting the burger out can get tricky, so if you're looking for a speed assembly line, it's not going to happen. I haven't tried spraying the parts with Pam yet, but that could move things along a bit faster, along with making sure the meat is pretty cold.I didn't have any of the problems with the burger coming apart during cooking like some others mentioned and have a feeling they may have skipped the all important oscillating step when assembling the total burger, that's what seals all the edges!

Love this Burger Pocket Press!
The Burger Pocket Press makes wonderful, tasty hamburgers. I first went to YouTube to see a live action demonstration of the press. Kept it playing while we made our first pocket burgers. The press is easy to use. We used cooking spray on it for the first burger, but really didn't need it after that. Our choice of fillings? Pickles, sliced onions cheese slices and ketchup. (Tried both raw and pan-fried onions, but there was no discernible difference in the finished product, so next time will simplify things and just use sliced uncooked onions.).During our assembly line of pressing and stuffing, I discovered that if we used a little more than 1/3 cup of ground beef in the top half, it better sealed the pocket. We then grilled them letting them brown on one side before turning them.Although, not necessary I did season my ground beef before making the pocket burgers. I used salt, ground pepper, steak seasoning, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs and a whole egg and gently stirred everything into the ground meat before making the stuffed pocket burger. Refrigerated the seasoned meat for about 30 minutes to image it easier to handle. The result? We thought these were the best-tasting burgers ever! And no slippery toppings trying to escape from the buns. Finally, cleaned up by putting all the Pocket Burger pieces in the dishwasher. Can't wait to use the Pocket Press again! It will get a lot of use in this house.

Good press
I like this press. I spray all pieces with Pam prior to pressing. I find that the burgers do not seal very well. Sealing will require extra twists or careful pressing/pinching with your fingers.A burger press is a "must have" for any burger connoisseur.

Prepare yourself... Man vs Burger
Works, but you have to be ready for one hell of a challenge, the burger ends up inourmous and if you put less meat which I had hoped you could then your insides spill out everywhere so it has to be a monster!
