This book is very specific, I was looking for a way to deepen my spiritual connection and find some clarity.Fast like Daniel really helped me achieve that.

In my 63 years, I have NEVER fasted before, much less fasted for 21 days. I started with a 7 day water fast, followed with a 7 day high protein veggie fast, then another 7 day water fast. I journaled daily following the guide, and have been reading the Word daily (Bible app - read the Bible in 90 days). I start and finish every day in prayer. The result is I am beginning to have a relationship with God like never knew was possible. I understand God's character and what He expects from me infinitely more than I EVER did before. I find that things in my life I have struggled with for years are becoming easier to handle or that, through the power and promise of God have been defeated altogether. So, is it worth it? If you read what I wrote, what do you think? Don't even think about it....JUMP IN without ANY reservations or excuses., and ask and expect God to transform your life NOW!

Finally a Daniel Fast book that I can really connect with. I've read other books on fasting, prayer and specifically several on the Daniel Fast over the years. Fast like Daniel is a one stop shop for the Daniel Fast or any fast for that matter.Each day in the daily devotional is practical and unlawful. Simple digestible chunks that I can apply to my life. I'm already feeling more connected with God in prayer as the HSPE prayer concept alone has been a game changer for me. I will definitely continue to do the Daniel Fast each year and will be my one stop shop to walk me through it.Thanks for this book, looking forward to the fruit in 2018.Writing style: Fresh, relevant, story telling...Scripture: Lots of relevant, easy digestible passages.Application: Every day is packed with questions and prayers...This book is great and for the review that said this is a diet and not a fast, they clearly must not have read the book. I’m really excited about starting my year off with this new book, “Fast Like Daniel”. My husband and I have participated in January fasting since 2006 with our local church. The first few years were great, but then became monotonous until we heard about this new book, Fast Like Daniel. After the first few days of reading, our heart and mind was inspired by a fresh, new perspective, and a practical understanding of how to fast according to Daniel in a relatable and contemporary approach. I am so thankful we decided to purchase. As an avid reader, I highly suggest trying a new approach to your new year with this book, it's life changing.

This book answers so many questions you may have about fasting. When you're called to fast, learn how to do it right. Isaiah says, "Is this not the fast I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6

Today is Day 21! I made it! This book is a true inspiration if you are trying to develop a closer relationship with God. #HSPE

This time around I had more focus, felt the Holy Spirit stronger, and went deeper. I enjoyed this book very much. It helps one to understand the issues around overeating. It convicts us to go to God to meet our needs, not food.

This was a fantastic book! I loved reading it every morning.... the journal questions in each chapter were a great way to continue my food for thought throughout the day. And I loved the daily tips. I will recommend this to everyone I know.
