Love this functional bird!
I hate soggy dishrags. Don't like them draped on my faucet on to dry - drape them over the center sink divider and someone uses a sink leaving a half-soggy cloth. Solved!!I hesitated on this because of some reviews, it could have been a bit of an expensive whim if it wasn't decent quality but I liked the concept. In my opinion they nailed it.Yes, it does "wobble" on the suction cup, but just enough that it allows it to move without breaking suction or the bird. This makes it bump friendly, and I don't worry about swiveling it out of the way either. Draping a wet cloth on it changes the angle of the beak only fractionally, it's not a big amount of play - just enough. It's cast in one piece, and the beak is a sturdy thickness. I don't worry about it breaking. The suction cup hasn't needed reaffixed either. The only thing I wish was different is that the cup that forms its body is a bit too small for a sponge etc. I'd be sort of wedging it in which doesn't seem optimal for drying out. So I just store a little flat scraper in it instead. But I bought this because of the beak and I am well pleased with it. So cute!😂

Suction cup doesn't work on some surfaces
This is really cute, and I thought it would be ideal for me because I usually have a handi-wipe in the sink area. I tried it on the side of my stainless steel sink and it wouldn’t hold. I thought it was a bad suction cup, but it turns out that my sink has a very slight texture to the surface. I tried it on the Corian windowsill above the sink and it sticks perfectly. As long as you have a perfectly smooth surface, this will be great.

It's so cute!
I bought it as a gift for my daughter-in-law. She's delighted. She is looking forward to having it preside over her kitchen sink.

Loved it so much I bought another one
I love this cute and whimsical Pelican: now I don't have to drape my damp dish cloths over the faucet; This extends inside the sink and it has a slot for a sponge as well; Attaches with a suction cup and it swivels as needed to get It out of the way when cleaning the sink

Makes everyone laugh, it’s so cute. Clever !
Clever concept. Really cute but also very practical. The swivel beak can let dishcloth drop dry over sink then swiveled back when not in use

What you see, is what you get!
Pelix is adorable, and it looks & works as described. I've had it for a couple of the weeks, and the suction remains strong- even as I swivel it back and forth. It has held up the weight of my hand towel just fine. The only "negative" is the body's on the small side. The sponges I use are a bit too big to sit in Pelix. However, no complaints from me! When I got it out of the packaging, it gave me a big smile, and everyone who has seen Pelix thinks it's a cute, whimsical piece for the kitchen.

fun
We have a wide stainless steel edge on our sink. I wetted the suction cup before placing it. It hasn't come off yet in the several months it has been there. We don't use the sponge holder. I enjoy the silliness of the bird every time that I look at it

Love it
Sits happily on the edge of the sink holding a dripping wet dishcloth and sponge with no bother. Love it.

Average
Not practical. Works if you ha w double sink as it touches for dishes in the sink and gets dirty the wiping cloth.
