If you’re looking for a nice, full-bodied tea that you want to add milk to, the kind of rich-tasting breakfast variety tea that provides comfort as you wake up, then this is your tea. And it’s a great value for when you don’t want to spend coffee prices but you also don’t want something that came from the grocery store. A great staple tea for my pantry.

This is very strong tea. It is strong in terms of aroma, strength of flavor, and oh may I stress again the key factor here of aroma. The smell of this tea will be overwhelming to some people, and amazing to others. "Smoky" is the word used on the box and frankly, that's good enough a descriptor for me. It conjures up memories or likenings of just about anything involving fire, or fireplaces, or camp fires, or even just the general season of autumn as these things will all involve the smell of smoke. I could picture this tea really hitting the right mark if consumed after spending a long day outdoors in the cold weather. It's a well-made tea. The flavor comes through, the sediment is quite low, the aftertaste is small -- it's a top-shelf product. Just know what you are getting. If you ordinarily drink Darjeeling or Earl Grey and you cannot imagine anything being stronger, then this tea will knock your socks off. Or if you have a hypersensitive sense of smell and are bothered by anything rising above the presence of crackers and bread, then you will probably be overwhelmed by this. Or perhaps you're like me, and you've consumed enough tea to float a battleship. And you've come to a point where you would like to try something new from time to time because, well, life is short. In that case, I'd say give this a try. It is different and it is unique, but it is also well-made and coherent -- there is a method to the madness, as they say. 5 Star Earl Gray Tea! Wonderfully smooth and not bitter. Taylor’s is my go to brand. Excellent teas and reasonably priced. TERRIBLE Packaging. The box was delivered in a poly mailer and arrived crushed with a hole in it. This is the 2nd box of tea I received that was crushed. I called Amazon and they refunded my money. When customers request “Hide what’s Inside” they expect workers to have enough common sense to determine bag or box. Free Shipping isn’t really free. Box and bag fees and postage are co-mingled in the price of the product. 5 Star Review for this Tea and customer service refunding my money & Zero for Amazon shipping warehouse. The tea is fine. I requested a refund (like I should’ve on The $27 box of Boston Harbor Tea) but I decided I will not accept anymore products that arrive in a condition that is unacceptable. I don’t purchase damaged goods at the store so why should I accept them from Amazon due to poor packaging.

Good flavor and relatively fresh

This makes fantastic iced tea as well. I've been trying to find an iced tea that comes out clear without much hassle. Lipton, Luzianne, Tetley - all these teas are a bit finicky when trying to brew just right. On occasion if you overbrew you get a cloudy, mucky mess of a tea. And I like my iced tea to be clear as highly polished amber. This one is so hard to mess up. I use four bags in a pyrex measuring cup. I can walk away from it while it's steeping. Somewhere after 6 minutes or so I check on it. Then I pour it over ice. I've tried to take pictures of how it looks, but it's frosting the pitcher so it's hard to tell how nice it looks. I know people might be like, who cares how it looks? But often cloudy tea has a horrible taste to it. Very bitter. This also tastes great. It has a nice sharp flavor to it without being too much. I found I had to get used to it, the first couple of glasses I was expecting the more mellow taste of more basic iced teas. Once I did get used to the change, I will not go back. This is my new iced tea!

This a is a very nice tea, very good quality but difficult to find, so stock up as you will nt easily find it in outher supermarket. The price is good too, shame about the shipping charges.

My wife found that the National Trust near where we live use Taylor's Decaf tea bags. She is tied to needing decaf and has often found other brands to be tasteless or sometimes harsh. Taylor's Decaf is both round in taste yet full of flavour. buying 6 boxes at a time means that it is always available without having to search across town to find it.
