It sounds great and is very convenient not having to drag all the extra gear around
The media could not be loaded. It has a very clear natural sound and no feed back .Sounds like its coming out of my guitar. A plus for someone with hearing loss like me

Lovely but delay is too quiet
I love this amp. I was previously stuck using a fender bass amp that did okay, but it wasn’t built for acoustic instruments. I was able to snag the ACS Live LT used (like new) for just under $300 so it was a steal in my opinion. Everything sounds great, but it’s darn near impossible to hear the delay on vocals or the instrument. I can just barely hear it when it’s turned all the way up when I have my ear next to the amp, but you wouldn’t even know it was there otherwise. I’m not sure if this is just my amp or if this is a problem with all of them, but it hasn’t yet bothered me enough to get it checked out. Otherwise, great amp.

Worth the price and exceeded my expectations!
Sound is amazing with the harmony, echo and many other features. Great effects to voice and acoustics with so many options to get the sound you want in a song.

Portable fun in a convenient rig
The amplifier is quite heavy which I think is a good sign. To the build quality is quite high. It is made of wood primarily which is stained in a very nice dark green. The amplifier is very solidly built. Has very good weight. It stands even on a table top or the floor. No complaints whatsoever about the build quality. In appearance, the boss amplifier is nicely vintage in its appearance. The front grill cloths wrapping it reminiscent of older amplifiers. It has nice knobs to actually turn and spares us the usual complexity of screens and push buttons on many modern amplifiers. Overall the appearance is quite nice and clean. All of the necessary hook ups are right up front and easy to reach. On the front panel you get a microphone and guitar input hook up. Both of these are convenient. On the back there is a variety of hook ups which are quite surprising given the price of the amp. You can essentially do anything on this amp including hook into outboard effects and computers. The amplifiers intuitive and easy to use. On both microphone and guitar settings you have the usual three tone, bass middle and treble knobs. In addition on the guitar you have a phase inverter four getting rid of unwanted noise. In addition an anti-feedback notch applies to both channels and is quite effective in eliminating feedback. My instruments hooked up immediately into the amplifier. I turned it on and within seconds I was able to both use the microphone and guitar to great effect. The sound of the microphone was strong. The delay, echo and reverb effects worked quite well as did the anti-Notch were anti-feedback notch. On the guitar the acoustic residence button brighten the tone nicely. Also the delay, chorus, and reverb effects were quite effective. The overall sound and quality of this amplifier is quite good in a small to medium room with limited volume. This is not an amplifier for gigging in a bar or large environment. It is quite good though in a medium size room.Overall this is an excellent amplifier for its size and power. Don’t expect to fill an auditorium or gymnasium with sound, but this is both useful and fun in the right environment. I would highly recommend this amplifier to anybody who would like a fun and portable device to amplify both microphone and guitar.

Works great for my son to use with his garage band.
My teenage son plays the guitar, and he and his friends have a sort of garage band together. They hang out on the weekends and practice, with dreams of one day actually playing for a crowd. A crowed other than the ones who attend their high school band concerts. He's been eyeing up amps like this one for quite a while, so I had high hopes for it when I ordered it. For him and his group, it's perfect. Plenty of volume for what he's doing right now. It's not so loud you could fill a venue with sound, so I wouldn't get this for professional use. But for at-home use or your garage band, it works great!

Nice but not powerful enough
It’s nice but not loud enough to use in most settings without clipping. I got the Fishman instead.
