Polar-Aire LF20TBN High Performance Floor Fan, 20-Inch

I ended up buying 5 of these fans and only two of them had the legs in the box so they could be used. I got some from Amazon and the rest from Ace hardware. Three had to either be returned or thrown in the dumpster.They don't move much air and move around on a hard floor. You have to block them to keep them where you want them. They are not as handy as you would think.I have 10 Lasko Box fans that are large with handles, with the control on top that are much nicer and easier to move around and they move much more air and cost less.The Polar-Aire LF20TBN High Performance Floor Fan, 20- fan has the control down on the back... not handy AT ALL!I had the lower part of my home flooded and needed fans to work on a restoration project. With Lasko I am getting the job done.

This isn't a quiet fan by any means, but it generates an amazing amount of airflow for its size. Kept me cool all summer long, and actually had me under a blanket most nights. For the price, it was a great buy!

This fan is definitely not a High Performance Floor Fan it has poor air circulation not at all as advertised. I had it for one day and returned it.

This fan moves a ton of air and is just as quiet as any other box fan. I do not work for a fan company. We have had 4 "box" fans in our home running at night to sleep x 13 years. Used all of the brands at some point. I have no idea about longevity, I just bought it from Ace Hardware last week. But hands down moves more air then our other 20 inch box fans ever have. Paid $29 at ACE. The Lasko next to it was $22.

Fan is not very powerful, but runs quiet. I'd recommend a Lasko box fan for something a little stronger.

I just have misinterpreted that this "Polar Wind" is a representation of polar conditions post global warming.But it moves air.
