By far my favourite fly box. It is essentially 2 boxes in one, has multiple magnets, water proof and solid. Best box hands down

Really wanted to like this fly box. Pricey but seemed promising. However, on inspection, it feels like it was designed by someone who doesn't actually fish.... I'm sending it back.1. Dark green plastic makes it too hard to see flies. This seems to be about fashion (it looks nice) rather than fishing (lighter green or even clear would be great). What's the point of a see-through cover if it's difficult to see the flies, especially in low light conditions or when wearing sunglasses?2. A good portion of both "inserts" (the leaves) are just low ridges (the long "big fly" sections), with no actual slot to slide a hook into -- so presumably you are supposed to stick the point of the fly into the rubber? I didn't try because I'm returning it, but this means those sections will get pretty beat up pretty quickly. The magnetic "midge" sections seemed pretty good, and the other sections with the diamond-shaped depressions seemed like they would hold flies pretty well, with deep slots to back the hook into.3. Difficult to open latch. It's the kind of thing that will annoy you on the water when you are juggling your gear, trying to change flies to match whatever's hatching, and the last thing you want to shift focus to is the latch of your flybox (to be fair, that strong a latch prob does make it as watertight as they say it is).4. The first insert has a good extended tab that makes it easy to turn the page, but the tab on second one sits so low you need to get it with a fingernail. Another riverside annoyance.5. Weighs almost a full pound empty. It does seem to be built pretty tough, and I could live with the weight if not for the other flaws...

This box is great for a day on the stream when you're supplying flies to a second fisher. It has room to hold a large assortment of nymphs and small wolly buggers. The magnetic clasps of the leaves keep them in place well without being cumbersome to flip over. Overall this is a great box if you don't want to have 2 or 3 boxes in your vest to monkey with.
