Well made, albeit lacking instructions
They’re not rocket science, but even a small note with modest directions for the non-DIYer wouldn’t have broken the bottom line.Installation Instructions:1.) I took the stopper, held it firmly against my knob and pressed it against the wall with my door. Then while holding the stopper in place, I opened the door out of the way and used the included screw to poke a marker hole in the Sheetrock.2.) A 5/16 bit for the accordion style drywall anchor was a perfect fit. Easily tapped in with the base of my drill, didn’t even need a hammer.3.) When assembling the stopper, it can really only go together one way, the snap points on the decorative cover don’t really function right if you put the zinc plate in backwards.4.) The misleading part, is that you drill the screw *through* the rubber stopper (so it disappears), then it will snug the plate up against your wall. My first one (I bought 5 pack) was super loose and I was momentarily stumped as to why. It doesn’t feel natural to run the screw through the rubber. But once you pop through the rubber, it’ll tighten the metal plate up and boom you’re done.5.) I used my drill to carefully run the screw past the rubber (it’s a decently long screw), then hand tightened it the final few turns so I wouldn’t over-tighten by accident.5 star product, docked 1 star for the lack of directions

Just What We Needed
Used this for a wall door stop. Our bedroom has a button on the door knob that locks it from the inside. and it was always getting pushed into lock position when it hit the wall as you walked in the room. Then when we went back out of the room we didn't realise it had pressed in the button and when we shut the door behind us, of course, it locked the door from the inside. Grr! This was the perfect fix as the button on the door knob fits perfectly into the hole and doesn't lock. Great solution to our problem. No more accidental locked doors.
