Purchased this to keep up with the high repetition exercises required by physical therapy. It works well for this purpose. I probably have 1500 "clicks" on it so far without a problem. Easy to reset with the side roller. Fits well in my hand with the attached wire ring.

fairly light weight but feels sturdy and well constructed, the actuation of the plunger is excellent ad no slippage as of yet and do not expect it to. the finger ring is a great feature for holding and control while ascending and descending flights of stairs I put in my pocket when not in use and my current count remains unchanged. I am very satisfied with this counter and recommend it to anyone in the market. For a good and inexpensive counter.

Appears to be a good product, very inexpensive and made well. They have a plastic casing so I bought two in case one fails.

Bought these for our School Bus drivers. We will see how long they actually last...

I've tried a few of the cheaper ones and the action/button wears out usually within about a year. This product has been bullet proof - the marathon brand name was not chosen by accident. I will happily definitely buy another one when/if the one I have ever wears out.

Didn't realize it was made of plastic but so far so good. It does get banged around a little bit with my job but so far I've had no issues with it.

Works well. I work in the cold. It’s more merciful than the metal one. Handles a fall bettter than the metal one.

Works great for keeping track of my walking laps after my major surgery. I would always lose track before I got this.

They're located in Vaughan, Ontario. This unit I bought was shipped from Amazon.ca, so it came quickly. It's too bad you can't reverse the numbers, in the event you double-click, but perhaps the manufacturer can create a nw counter with this feature - I would definitely buy it, and simply have 2 counters. The build quality is good, and the information paper contained within the box said "guaranteed for 1,000,000 clicks", so I guess it's going to last a long time. great for walking or running around a track, or doing step-ups on a plyometric box, or aerobic platform, or anything else you think you might need this for.

Overall I like these counters but twice now I have found that the thousands place advanced before it should. The first time it went from zero to one and the second time it advanced from one to two before reaching ...999. This can be annoying but it only happened twice for me after using it extensively and I am just using it for sports practice so it is not critical for my use but if you are using it for something more important this could call into question your whole count. I am not sure if this is a design problem of if it is just an issue with the manufacture of my particular counter.On the plus side they are quite durable and they click smoothly and has a good satisfying click sound and feel.

I am using it to count laps as I swim. I leave it on a towel away from the edge of a pool. Nonetheless it gets splashed and water gets inside. I am certain it was not designed to be even water resistant. So I may be misusing it.In spite of the wettings it continues to work after 18 outings.
