Love this flask. It’s a really good design. The wide mouth makes it much easier to fill up, and it hasn’t leaked at all, carrying it around all day in my backpack on a ski trip.100% recommend over the traditional flask style.

Looks good for the money

Great flask in a much more comfortable shape than most others. Packing this away into a work bag/backpack filled with other essentials is a breeze. You barely notice it, but it holds a very decent amount of liquid. The colour is easy on the eyes, and though the paint can easily scratch, it’s just as easy to put stickers on it that will remain under any condition.The wide mouth makes drinking from this a non-issue. You can chug or just sip with no spills. The hold you have on the flask is also more ergonomic. Nice thermos qualities to it as well.Only issue I have with this is the difficulty sometime to unscrew the top. It’s good to know it’s on tight, and that there won’t be any spillage inside your bags, but it’s ridiculously difficult to open it up again, and this is with dry hands!

It is what it is. A decent quality/cost flask.No complaints.I thoroughly cleaned before use, just by repeated washing out and rinsing, nothing major.I notice no discolouration or nasty taste in the whiskey that fills it, even after 3 days. However never left longer than that.

Overall I'm pleased with this item and it gets nice comments from my alcoholic camping friends. It holds plenty too, which was one of reasons why I chose this. One thing I don't like however is the plastic 'hinge' of the cap. Whilst it's not a huge issue, I just feel it should be metal in keeping with the supposed rugged nature of this product.

Naja, Spaß beiseite.Auch ich habe einen "Flachmann" gesucht. Aber eben nicht retro, wie zu Opa's Zeiten.Der "Flachmann" von Stanley kommt recht modern, farbenfroh aber dezent, zeitgemäß und stylisch daher. Dennoch erkennt jeder, was vermutlich in ihm steckt 😉Haptisch wirkt er hochwertig.Je nach Lichteinfall und Lichtfarbe (Tageslicht oder Glühbirne) könnte die Farbe "Nightfall" (also blau) etwas lila wirken. Der Effekt ist nicht so extrem wie bei Lollipop- oder Flipflopfarben. Sieht man aber sogar auf einem meiner Bilder. Im Sonnenschein ist es ein sattes Dunkelblau. Mir gefällt's.Versendet wird er in einem Hochglanz Pappschuber, wie viele "Outdoor-Artikel". Hochwertig oder schön ist anders. Wer ihn verschenken will, sollte es vielleicht nur vorher wissen, um sich gegebenenfalls eine hübsche Schachtel zu besorgen.Der Stanley Classic Flachmann sieht zunächst eher für den Outdoor-Bereich aus. Dennoch ist er urban sehr tauglich, weil er halt jung und frisch wirkt.Der Drehverschluss ist angenehm groß und grob gerändelt. Im Verschluss befindet sich eine Gummidichtung. Wie immer bei Gummi bitte nur handfest zudrehen. Quetscht man Gummi, wird's halt undicht und man riecht schon danach, obwohl man noch gar nicht angefangen hat. Ärgerlich... 😅Da zwar die Maße beschrieben sind, fällt es auch mir schwer, mir ein konkretes Bild zu machen. Daher habe ich mal ein Bild gemacht, auf dem ich ihn in der Hand halte. Üblicherweise habe ich Handschuhgröße 10.Wie andere Amazonesen es bereits anmerkten, verjüngt sich der Körper zur Schanierseite. Auch hiervon habe ich mal Bilder angehängt. Ich finde es nicht schlecht, weil es den individuellen Style unterstreicht.Ob da wirklich 8OZ reinpassen wollt ihr wissen? Bestimmt. Ich hab's nicht nachgemessen. Für einen Abend um beispielsweise Geschmack an die Cola zu bekommen reicht's! 😋Die Trinköffnung ist mit beinahe 1cm Durchmesser angenehm groß. Nur Obacht, man hat schnell mal einen großen Schluck genommen.Mit eigentlich jedem haushaltsüblichen Trichter kann man ihn Befüllen. So muss man wenigstens nicht den Puppenhaus-Trichter von der Tochter klauen 😜.Zusammenfassend muss ich dem Stanley Classic Flachmann dennoch einen Stern abziehen, wenngleich er BPA frei ist. Er ist nicht aus Edelstahl und ist "made in China".Wer einen Flachmann sucht, der nicht klassisch nach "Opa" aussieht, hat ihn hiermit wohl gefunden. Daher Prost, Kaufempfehlung und "...seid stets Männer ohne Furcht...".
