Very good. A little more bulky than I expected - but, it works great.

Flawless so Far
I used two, two-headed Lumiens clip-on lamps for my music stand for about a year. The first one soon began to falter, so I reported that in my Amazon review, and a company rep contacted me and told me he'd send me a new one. I felt that was fair and I retracted the criticism. But the replacement lamp failed me too, almost from the start. I'll forgive the occasional lemon, but two in a row? We have a problem with design or manufacturing. Either one is a deal-breaker.But even when I compare this lamp with the last one when it worked, I've liked this one more from the start. I had to adjust those two heads of the Lumiens so they covered both pages of a music book, time-consuming, and they would easily get knocked out of adjustment again. This one's a snap to adjust, and its strong goose-neck keeps it in position. Its one-bar lamp sheds plenty of light on both pages. And this lamp's switch has worked for some months now with no glitches whatsoever. The switches in the Lumiens lamps gave me constant grief.I use this one's low powered setting when the sun is going down, and its high powered setting in the evening. If the lamp gives me any trouble, I'll be right back here telling you about it. But so far I have nothing but praise for it.Update, 7/21/16: This is my first of what will be regular updates. So far, no problems, well one small one: the light wants to fall oversideways a bit so it leans. It just takes a quick twist of the wrist to center it again, but I think I'll cement a piece of non-slip material to my music stand, then the setup will be perfect. I plug mine into a USB port on my computer, but it comes with an AC jack and it also works on its batteries alone when you unplug it. Right now, except for that one little problem, it works great: I push the button once, it turns on; I push it again, it gets brighter; push it again, it shuts off. It never falters. I love it.

Stopped working in a month
Flimsy and light stopped working within 1 month. I am a professional musician and used this for only 14 days in the month and light would not turn on anymore. Replaced it with the Mighty Bright Light and that is working perfectly and comes with a carry case. I had hoped to save some money with this one but instead lost $25.00.

Light works great if you have electricity or a USB plug in. Can't get it to work with batteries, can't return it.

No complaints. Nice features, esp. cool color of light
Haven't given it the test of time yet but it's served its purpose well so far...about a month of ~15 hrs/week of use.FEATURES:Casts a soft blue-ish light, cool not warm. Two lighting options achieved by toggling the single button on top of the lamp shade (dimmer / brighter / off).Option of using either 3 AA batteries OR plugging into a power outlet. When using power cable, the wall adapter has a small solid red indicator light to show that it's receiving power. It clips to a stand sturdily enough without wiggling.Flexible but solid arm keeps the lamp where you want it.LightweightOne other note, and it's not a bad thing: It wasn't clear to me until I received the package that the power cable is DC-to-USB, and you plug the USB end into a USB-to-wall outlet converter. I haven't tried yet but I'm hoping/assuming it can charge from any old USB port so that I can plug into a nearby computer if necessary.I expect to get many years of use from this thing.

A Breakthrough light ??????????
1. The brightness has 2 levels: Poor and Very Poor 2. After a few months the power switch stopped working. The light is now useless. The price of $15 is not worth the hassle of sending it back to obtain a refund. I suspect the manufacturer and seller know that as well and count on the customers just not bothering.

This works fine, but it is not rechargeable
This works fine, but it is not rechargeable; it runs on AC power, USB power, or with batteries installed. I returned it for a similar model made by Kootek that comes with a rechargeable battery -- Kootek® Portable Clip On Music Light Stand 9 LED Orchestra Lamp Adjustable Neck Reading Light Rechargeable USB Book Lights . The latter has worked like a charm; it provides several hours of use between charges.
